Heroes Preview: Season 3 Episode 12 (3.12) Our Father

Here it is, the penultimate episode of Heroes Season 3’s “Villains” volume. The Haitian has been located and brought back to the States, while Nathan Petrelli has made his choice, and it’s a very surprising one. Then again, he is a politician, and you know politicians — trust them only as far as you can throw them. Meanwhile, Sylar has proven that he doesn’t need anyone, not even little Elle, and back in the past, Claire and Hiro have gone back to see how it all started 16 years ago. That’s right, folks, Heroes Season 3 is just about to get good. Here’s your full preview for Heroes Season 3, Episode 12, “Our Father”.

Official Description:

HEROES BAND TOGETHER IN AN ATTEMPT TO PUT A STOP TO ARTHUR PETRELLI

Hoping to find a way to stop Arthur (guest star Robert Forster), Hiro (Masi Oka) and Claire (Hayden Panettiere) band together and travel back in time 16 years to when Kaito (guest star George Takei) gave baby Claire to H.R.G. (Jack Coleman). Meanwhile, Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) and the Haitian (guest star Jimmy Jean-Louis) team up to finish off Arthur Petrelli for good but are interrupted by Sylar (Zachary Quinto). Elsewhere, in the lab, Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) has a major breakthrough with the formula that will likely change everything.

Jessalyn Gilsig, Ashley Crow, Tamlyn Tomita and Chad Faust guest stars.

Wow, this next episode is going to be incredible! I can't wait! Wow, so Sylar is back to being a bad guy again... These last couple episodes as well as the ones coming up are goin' to be really gritty. I'll post again and iclude my theories of where this is going

I've seen the whole season and it's full of surprises and the season finale is really mind blowing!

Heroes DUDE!!

You know, I have a lot of faith in Heroes.. But this season has been very up and down for me.. Its been very.. Everywhere if you understand what I mean.. I just seemed like... Nothing too special happened.. Hopefully next Volume of Heroes will be good..

I did like how Elle died.. If she did.. You never know if its true in Heroes lol.. But I'm pretty sure shes gone.. She was a good character and she was going to change Sylar.. But I kept telling everyone that Sylar was gonna become a bad guy once again lol.

Hopefully Peter gets his powers back.. And watching the Haitian do his stuff will be pretty awesome too. Nathan's a bad guy now. And I guess we'll have to see what happens with Claire and Hiro. I didn't like Suresh in this season as well. His character just kind of went down the drain..

I've got agree with you on the fact this this volume of Heroes has gone all over the place. That\'s not neccesarily a bad thing, but it is what it is. Suresh has been kind rather annoying this season, but I actually think that his character will start to get more interesting again.

It's almost common knowledge that Peter will get his powers back, but that\'s not actually a fact. It\'s possible that Peter will remain powerless, although it is very unlikely. Elle\'s death was cool, but I didn\'t quite understand how she was killed. Sylar had her power already, so there wasn\'t anything to be gained from it. Regardless of the reasoning behind it, I am kind of glad to see Sylar all bad ass again. I think I see Angela getting killed in volume 4, as well as Tracy.

I think that volume 3 started out great, and starting at episode 6 it went dowon hill for two episodes, but redeemed itself starting at episode 8. Honestly, I thought that volume 2 was incredible, regardless of what so many people are saying. It was slow paced, but you have to take this into consideration. Season 2 was supposed to have generation and villains in it, in which case season 2 would have been a well balanced season. The first half would have been slow moving, but the second would have been very fast paced. It\'s too bad about the writers strike, because it messed up the flow of things.

i think peter already has his powers back because of the eclips, but he hasnt tried to use them, or his powers are weak, and he has to re learn how to use them

In the second tease it looks like Claire is talking to her father in the past! That could change everything.

I am still confused as to how Adam Monroe was able to live for so many centuries. With the revelation that powers are enabled by an eclipse, and blocked by the same event, wouldn't Adam have gotten sick or had his body decay into nothing during an eclipse.

Surely an eclipse would have occurred at some point in the last few hundred years.

Oh well add it to the list of stories/characters with remaining questions. I love heroes but I am starting to realize that there are more questions then answers, which may ruin the show.

Adam probably died many times. Remember, when the eclipse is over he gets his powers back, even if he's dead. (Claire and Sylar).

That last episode was prettty good. I think I was kind of getting used to the fact that Sylar was becoming a good guy though....oh well. Also, I think that Peter will get his powers back. But originally, his power was that he could absorb other peoples powers around him so I think he will be back to square one now and everyone he comes in contact with he will get those powers. We could be looking at a new and improved yet still very awesome Peter. And what was HRG talking about when he said that Arthur and Angela weren't Sylar's real parents? I hope that has a story behind it because I think that has a lot of potential to be a good storyline.

I think Peter will get all his absorbed powers back just like how sylar had all his returned after the eclipse, why he didnt fly after nathen is beyond me but he must have all his absorbed powers back unless he only got his original back because arthur sucked all his absorbed powers out of him, and the haitian must be able to control his blocking ability because he was close to nathen wen he flew out of haiti but then why didnt peter follow him?

Prob a bad idea, but: maybe, claire was given her abilty, cause nathan dosent act have one it was given, so... maybe when they put the catalystin claire it gives here that abilty, so hwne she tells past HRG to answer it maybe all her jinjurys and burns will come back and she will drop dead? I HOPE NOT, but u never know, with some of the writing so far anything is possible

wouldnt she actually disappear? as in not exist anymore think about it if she never got her powers she would tunr into a completly different person and that "future" clair wouldnt exist and the whole save the cheerleader thing wouldnt of happened it would be a huge domino effect on the whole story im pretty sure she wont stop Noah and the company from doing what they already did to her whatever it is why? because it already happened

thought lastnights episode was another good one. i agree the 3 season has been all over the place form the past to the future to no powers, but i don't feel that it has been great improvement from the strike shorten 2nd season and on the path to getting back to the greatness of season 1.

about this whole sylar killing elle thing. it makes no sense what so ever. what would be sylar's reasoning for killing her? he already has her ability. the only other reason would be an attempt to see all of her secrets, but sylar has never been shown to be able to do (yet its heroes so who knows) and in the spoiler pic her head is still intact. there is only a thin line of blood where an incision was made. so who knows what is going on. i read a spoiler that said that the whole elle dying things is a cover up. what kind of cover up could this be? i just don't see who they would be trying to confuse besides us, the viewers. maybe someone could shed some light onto this for me?

mabye because sylar hadnt had the hunger at all because of the eclipse.. when he got it back he might have not been able to control it and just killed elle outright. or he thought that she was lieing ...like in the past and wanted to kill her justout of revenge. but didnt he get briget bailey's power of reading somethings past .. mabye he could find out her secrets that way

He did it for revenge or were you guys not listening to him talk to her, he saw in her that she was using him and trying to change him toying with his emotions and lying to him and it doesnt take much for \"evil\" sylar to kill so yes him killing Elle

yeah, but he has shown the ability to somewhat control the hunger this season. plus his hunger is for more power, but he already has her power. the only logical reason i can come up with is regarding him wanting to know if she was lying or not about knowing who he is. as for bridget bailey's power...it could be that it provides too much informational and may take too long to understand, but if you notice in the spoilers for episode 12 sylar is suppose to gain a unique ability. could it possible be that he will acquire the haitians ability which would allow him to access the memories of Angela without having to work through all of here history as he might have to with briget bailey's power. also there is suppose to be encounter with Peter, the haitian and sylar. this would be an ideal opportunity for him to gain access to it.

to geoff didnt the reason adam lived till now was because even if he died in the eclipse he would heal the moment the eclipse was over

Maybe the reason Adam survived 400 years even with the eclipse is because he learnt what the eclipse does and moved to somewhere the eclipse only lasts a short amount of time, so quick that his body doesn't have time to decay

To all the people saying, oh no. Why did Sylar kill Elle? Its because she was only a guest on the show, and obviously someone had to kill her didn't they. Also, does anybody else think its stupid that we have till wait till around Feb next year just to see season 4. Its a joke, why can't we just have a season like the first one, where there were 21 episode or so and then they make another season. It just crazy shortening them like that, i'm fed up of waiting for decent TV to come out.

I wish people would stop moaning about how Season 3 is ending!
ITS NOT! VOLUME.3 'Villains' is ending the first half of Season 3, and Volume.4 'Fugitives' is going to have the second half of Season 3 due to air in Feb!
ALSO Season 1 had a long winter hiatus aswell. I've read that Season 3 will have 25 episodes!

Season 4 will not air untill September 2009....if its renewed, I think and hope it will be, but with the way people keep dissing the show WHO KNOWS!
