Heroes Preview: Season 3 Episode 11 (3.11) The Eclipse Part 2

The second part of Heroes’ mega two-part episode, “The Eclipse” continues next week after an episode filled with revelations and confrontations. The eclipse itself, it seems does more than just turn everything dark — it takes away powers. Meanwhile, we finally learn why Daphne is so determined not to lose her powers at the hands of Arthur Petrelli, and the Petrelli boys have a bit of a sibling tussle in the jungles of Haiti. The second part of “The Eclipse” should keep the family squabbling coming (though not necessarily from the Petrelli clan), and as Claire seems to hang between life and death, dear old Dad’s got a couple of villains in his sights. Let’s just hope Elle and Sylar savors that kiss they’re sharing, cause one or both of them may be kissing something else goodbye in “The Eclipse” Part 2…

THE HEROES CONTINUE TO DISCOVER THEIR TRUE ABILITIES UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF THE ECLIPSE

The eclipse continues to impact the Heroes’ abilities as Elle (Kristen Bell) and Sylar (Zachary Quinto) face off against a vengeful H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) while Claire (Hayden Panettiere) struggles to survive. In Haiti, Peter and Nathan (Milo Ventimiglia and Adrian Pasdar) join forces with the Haitian (Jimmy Jean-Louis) to battle the Haitian’s brother, Baron Samedi (guest star Demetrius Grosse), and Nathan comes to a shocking decision. In the meantime, Ando (James Kyson Lee), Sam (guest star Seth Green) and Frack (guest star Breckin Meyer) work hard to get Hiro’s (Masi Oka) memory back with the help of the “9th Wonders” comic books at a local comic bookstore.

Brea Grant and Robert Forster guest stars.

Er... I don't know why... Sylar looks cool for me... I think I will fall in love with him ... in this earlier episode... Sylar become good guy but I don't think in the middle...but this movie is very confuse me... turn back time and go to future... I just want to know it will be make sense to see future then change it ?? let's we see until end :) Enjoy the movie~

Cause I knew Heroes 1 n 2 from DVD... so can watched it continuely but this season ...once a week ? I couldnt wait...i wish I am be hiro ...go to next week ~

I thought of something else....

If present and future Peter can regenerate, why does future Peter have that scar on his face? The same scar that shrunk dramatically from the scar on future Peter in season 1...

I want evil sylar back. He was more entertaining - Sylar just wanted to kill people and have lots of super powers. I liked Adam too, his accent made him cooler.

These parental villians are crap. I want to see younger villians for the younger heroes!

i think heroes was really great when it began it was fresh, it was totaly new and completely original. Season 3 isn't as good as it could've been. My opinion is that they should finish at season 4. Make season 4 really good, then stop. The stories are getting to muddled and over the top.

I found 'Villians' episode boring, it seemed like the writers were trying to 'over' connect everything, and link storylines too much.

My plot-hole question is concerning the Nicky, Tracy and Barbra story. If they were triplets, where did Jessica come from? In season 1 we saw Nicky and DL at Jessica's grave, and we know Jessica was abused by her father so she was real - acctually Nicky's twin not just in Nicky's head. Is that a genuine mistake, or do you guys think it will be sorted out?

Fingers crossed that Tim Kring fixes all the messy plot holes....

i could be completely wrong, but i didn't think jessica was nikki's twin, but nikki's sister from her adoptive family.

Bngo!!!!!!!!! Jssica was like the older sister and protected Nikki so when she died Nikki's mind made something 2 protect her from u abuse. remember when they confrounted her "dad" the Jessica personalty was the one who was upset and wonted revenge not Nikki coz she never went though the pain.

but Barbra i really wonna see what she can do!!!

now if only someone could explain why they chose to put horrible obviously fake extentions on claire, as opposed to wokring in haydens short haircut into the character, id be happy.

I find it funny some of you are thinking so hard about the future peter thing, you may aswell talk about the meaning of life while ur at it:)
If u think about it peter petrelli is peter petrelli, even tho everybody like me and you wake up as somebody and goes to sleep as somebody else...because of time.
So Nathan seems to be destined to follow arthur yet he still has a heroes heart...think back to series one. If elle dies..HELLO BIG BAD SYLAR AGAIN. ..i wanna see peter get a sliced in the face...yet i doubt that will happen anytime soon if ever..depending on the writers take on time travel.
Also i feel that people you have seen die already will still die soon enough, as in knox & daphne.(even though shes v.cute..bless)
so many questions and so many diff possibilities as its down to the writers.
ALSO the eclipse thing peeps, god its obviously diff to the one seen b4.
We need to see some serious fighting.

When they have to make radical choices the future is changed. So we wont see 3 Peters as we saw in the last episodes and neither Sylar's son. Perhaps Elle will die.

I think iv got the answer to all u critics' questions - and that answer is, "why dont you stop trying to find flaws in the show, sit back and enjoy it."!

"Why are the comics still being published?" - Who knows, maybe there's someone else out there with similar powers.

"Whats up with the eclipse? we all know they got their powers b4 then." - Who knows? maybe theres more to the eclipse than we thought, i mean we have only just been introduced to the theory that it gives people powers and takes them away.

The point i'm trying to make is that not even the directors themselves would have an idea of whats going to happen in the next however many episodes, hence why they are still filming the next volume. So is it any surprise that there may be a few flaws?

I think that if you truly love the show you'd just watch it, enjoy it and enjoy watching the answers to these questions unfold. Its the unknown factor that makes us watch on, whether its for a show like lost, heroes, prison break whatever they are all the same. And another thing. To all these critics, if the shows so bad and there are so many flaws why are you still watching it? i mean there must be something to make you want to watch on.

I for one love the show. yes there are many questions which i dont understand, but thats what makes the show so good.... that unknown factor which makes u want to watch on. Many of your questions im sure will be answered over the next few episodes and i am looking forward to seeing them being answered.

I would agree with you on that point. I mean this isnt Lost, in which all the aspects need to be annotated as everything has its own important meaning like the numbers. It not made to be perfect, its just made to entertain which it clearly does drawing millions of people to watch and the thousands that write on the internet. Just let the show flow mann...

hey just a thought. if future peter came back and changed the(his) past then his future would not exist therfore there would be a different peter in the future. so when future peter and present peter went to the future shouldnt there be 3 peters? any thoughts?

I understand what your saying, that seems quite logical to. But i dont really understand the time travel aspect. If future peter came back and took present peter to the future and when he returned he some how changed that future, then wouldnt the future peter he met no longer exsist. This would then mean future peter never went back in time to get present peter, so peter would have never been to the future and known that he needed to change it. Thus meaning the encounter never happened and things would be the same as before.

I think if they are going to explain the time travel aspect than it will have to involve parallel time lines and fixed futures.

I don't know of course if Tim will follow the timeline that we saw in the past episodes reffering to the future but my guess is he will not. That's the sweetness playing with the future, you can change things ... you know... timelines... if you can see the future you can change it. I think forget the scar...forget the future peter... forget the future Claire... forget the previous future. Hiro, Peter, Arthur, Mendez, Usutu and Mama Petrelli knows or knew for the 2 of them that died the future so they are trying or tried to change it. We will see if they can!!!!! I hope they can! Like the future with Peter going nuke and destroy the hole city (thank God that Nathan was there!!!)

do u's remember at the start of vol 3 how sylar said claire wasspecial and can't be killed, maybe thats how she comes back to life after the eclipse.
or and this is just another theory) the haitain can "blunt" the powers but not stop them completly and from what i've seen the haitian has been with future petes dead body ever since he died, if he could completly stop the power and then that could b it then it may have been logical for f- claire to take him with her to find past pete

but the eclipse: can stop the powers compltely, but it might not be the same for claire? eg: if sylar got shot and died and then the eclipse ended he wouldn't come back but claire would????? answer me ppl!!!
