Ok, so this next episode looks incredible! Critics have been saying lately that the life and death apsect of the show is almsot unexistant, but the threat of death for our beloved character will certainly be apart of this next episode. Without their powers, Claire, Sylar and Arthur are now vulnerable. Man, I can’t wait! I hate to say it, but I’m hoping for some death to come out of this next episode…

what if the eclipse only makes heroes lose their power DURING the eclipse. then once the sun is full unblocked again they have their powers again.

think about it, this could work, it would cause a kind of “we have one shot to take down author” mentality by the good guys. which explains the ‘bid for power’ in the preview synopsis. also if one of his henchmen become disillusioned…maybe say sylar makes a bid to the throne to take down author?

in the preview for eclipse part 1 we see claire shot. obviously the writers wont kill her off…she just needs to live till the end of the eclipse. thatll add lots of drama, nail biting, etc, while not killing off an ratings getting character…this may also trick author into thinking shes dead and that the catalyst is now out a reach…which may in turn stop the formula from destroying the world.

which would be why a repentant sylar would allow what looks like elle to shoot claire. he did just say he never meant to hurt her and never wanted to again. why would he stand around and let elle shoot her, unless it’s part of a plan…he does know ‘how things work’

plus if it is temporary like i think it is, then it fits the continuity with the eclipses we’ve seen in the past… we’ve never seen anyone try to access their powers DURING an eclipse. what if its always masked their abilities, just now its more important because we in the middle of a WAR.

thats the only reason i can see for sylar letting that happen… or else he flips back to the bad side and thats just a weak explanation.

bottom line the next 3 episodes are going to be crazy…

the heroes have to get their powers back by the end of the eclipse because the episode after that is titled war… its a bit hard to have some all out episode where interviews have said ‘buildings get blown up’ its ‘good versus evil’ and ’several heroes will die’ without some amazing power’d up fights…

so im definitly thinking the eclipse is a temporary thing….

though one thing…adam was over 400 years old…i’m sure he’s seen a buttload of eclipses…how come he never died from old age?

t wait for next week. Claire is one of my favorite characters so it is nice to see her the center of some drama. Overall, it is going to be an amazing episode. I think these next couple of episodes are going to be the most explosive so far in this season. Can’t wait!!!

Okay, the eclipse is going to be temporary, unless they’re all going to be injected with the formula after its over. Claire wont die, she cant die, Sylar said so. I think that she’ll be clinically dead for a few minutes but will come back alive after the eclipse is over, her blood brought HRG back from the dead so i presume it’ll bring her back too. And how come everything has to be in claires blood? like season 2, the cure to the shanti virus was by mixing mohinder and claires blood and now the catalyst. It would’ve been cooler if it was inside Hiro, that way he would be protecting the formula without knowing it.

Sylar and Elle, i think that Arthur helped put it together in order to have blackmail material, just in case Sylar tries to take over or leave. Arthur needs him, he’s too much of a threat to have wandering around doing his own thing, and if he went back to Angela’s team she’d have the benefit of two people that can mimic powers.

In any case Arthur is going to die by the next chapter and Sylar is going to take over, and i think that Arthur’s original ability is the same one that Peter and Sylar have and he got his power stealing ability from someone else.

Also how is it that the government have no idea about these people? I mean if a professor in India can find how come the government cant. It makes no sense.

Personally i think that this will be the theme in ‘Fugitives’ and all the characters will have to band together to escape the clutches of the government, or some secret organisation that deals with people with abilities and has done for centuries, hence “The Hunter”.

Anyway, just some thoughts and theories.

I’m really enjoying Sylar’s story, they took his character to a whole new level and are continuously building on it. Zachary Quinto is a very talented actor. This season just keeps getting better. Sure they had some bumps at first, but like any good thing, they endured and will soon be back on top.

ok somebody will definatly get killed in this next episode, but as all episodes somehow they will be able to come back. It won’t be claire because she is just too important, and there’s just no way possible, i mean she’s the catalyst!!!! Hiro might die, just cause he thinks he’s 10 and he doesn’t remember how to do anything. Papa Petrelli can’t die because then the whole thing about good vs. evil won’t be able to do anything anymore. Personally i think Nikki or whatever her name is now is going to die because her role in the bad guy area of the thing isn’t that big and she’s not in that pic that hiro saw.

3 characters they will never take off the show; Hiro, Claire, and Peter. Too many fans…

the show is called HEROES, not ORDINARY HUMANS…so if they want to keep the show going for longer that say next week, they better have some way of returning the powers to the heroes.

I think that Arthur will soon die and like the other episodes indicate, claire will some how take over Pineherst. I think that Peter will regain his powers after the eclipse.

Cam (Nov 18th) dont forget that hiro’s dad is the one who gave claire to her “pops” protecting a secret… from birth basically. so she HAS to be important. that was the 3rd part of the formula that no one knew. and Heroesfan i think she does die, along with nathan, by a pipe through the back of her head. just like in angela petrellis vision before her husband did her in. And CSP I think that Peter will get his powers back because its in his blood. He just has to reprogram himself after his dad hit that reformat button on his powers lol.

So many theories! I am pumped for the next episode! I personally think that Hiro will gain his memory back in the next few episodes. How? I’m not sure though. But I’m so happy the Haitian is back in the show! At least for next episode. He was always the cool and silent dude

Hi guys, I think this would happen. I think the eclipse will work like a reset button clean up every one to their original power. and during this eclipse Nathan, Angela, and arthur will die leaving syler go head to head with peter. And during the battle the government agency came in and try to arrest - kill all of them. Lead to the episode fugitive.

hmm. If the effect of the eclipse is temporary, then i guess all their powers will be reset (or in other words, will given back to them.) They evolved through their DNA with the help of the eclipse. So like what Mohinder said about Peter on an episode, his body is “primed to accept abilities.” If its that the case, peter’s power will be given back to him.

WTF. Sylar also has Emphatic Mimicry. hmm. Is it possible that Arthur, Sylar, and Peter has the same abilities? Just that their personalities affect how they use their powers? Peter is naturally emphatic. Arthur found out Sylar has empathy too. He then acquires Emphatic Mimicry. wow. Or maybe Arthur gave Emphatic Mimicry to Sylar. He already has an ability-stealing power so he gave it away. :p

Personally i think HRG will die, he wasnt in the future ep, youd think with half the world having powers that maybe the man who was one of the best at capturing them would be high up, or even in charge of say pinehearst. Hes also more or less the only one protecting claire, once hes gone theres technically no one, par from peter who has the power to help her, and peter is having enough problems as is. Dont forget either than in part 2 he goes after syler and elle for shooting claire.

unedave, calm down m8, of course everyone will get there powers back, but like everything in life, sometimes a little change now and again is a good thing to keep things fresh. Imagine if peter still had all his abilities, yes there would be a good fight between him and arthur, but its almost guarantied that people would become quite bored seeing the same stuff over and over. - just my 2 cents so to speak.

Im not quite sure if claire is the catalyst, if she is then who was when nathan an tracy etc were born to have given them powers?

I cant believe it its going to be mad, Clair obviously wont die for alot of reasons she is the calis that complete the formular, at least at this point everything is even the forces of good and evil will be gridlocked it should be a good episode for HRG and if wanted to kill Sylar now would be the time, i cant believe he can obsorb power aswel the whole time and didnt know amazing stuff. I do have an incling that Sylar may still have his abilities or maybe thats why the formular was made because the eclipse takes and gives powers maybe they have all lost their abilities and wont get them back without the formular but who knws we will see

is it me or does anyone think Nathan also has a big role to play in heroes………i mean just look at it, linderman, arthur..why nathan? why do they desperately need him in politics, they could easily replace him with someone.

If it begins by reading minds and continues by putting a thought into someones head, it finishes with Arthurs ability. As seen in Villains, earlier he had only mind reading, and it evolved to putting a thought. what will happen to Matt, does he know this? Oh, and it gets the Haitians ability (its controlled by mind) remember? “What brain controls, you control” it controls and abilities. So, what do you thin about this?

WOAH first of claire cant die cause shes the main character of heroes thats why its save the cheerleader save the world lol although shes not really a cheerleader anymore shes not in school or in those stuff.. my question is(saw this question in another spoiler)how come adam manroe survive the eclipse i mean 400 years of livin i think in the 250th year or near the hundreds the eclipse will show up how come he doesnt turn into ash? PLEASE PLEASE tell me that you’ll take out mohinder out of the show he has the suckiest part! does angela have more to her power than just seeing the future? i mean she was pretty persuasive in letting arthur take out those chains. They should change Hiro’s time line cause he is getting boring i mean ever since season 2 with that go back 400 years later… they shoudnt have made those episodes long..

I am very excited about this season because you never know what is going to happen next. Kill Claire??, comon seriously she is so dramatic and cute. the show would loose something without her. Peter too. and Hiro, he’s my favorite one of all because he actually make me laugh. i love when he does that kitahh cheer when he does something. Personally I liked Niki/Jessica much better than her new sister Ice girl they shouldnt have killed her off so quick cuz she was interesting, and crazy. I really hope that mohinder get’s his lizard acne under controll he should try proactive.

If they want to kill someone they should kill off - Papa patrelli because he is not very interesting. and fear guy because i hate it when he does the shoulder thing. I mean why should heroes be afraid of him anyway when most have cooler powers. Also bring back monica or whatever mimic girls name was because she had a kick ass ability i wonder if her powers could develop to copy abilities too just like peter and sylar. new sylar is cool i like his change in personality but they need anouther kick ass murdering type bad guy to make the show exciting again. most importantly give peter his powers back because he is useless without them and he is one of the main characters the heroes team is definately the underdogs going into the eclipse because none of them have any “active kick ass powers” i mean healing and flying, and running fast vs. fire, lightning, and ice, plus sylar. it wouldnt be a good face to face matchup.

SPOILER ALERT

Claire does die but comes back to life after the Eclipse. She joins up with Arthur because he wants to keep her alive while Elle and Sylar switched sides against Arthur. Meanwhile HRG is on the rampage not knowing that Claire came back to life.

Arthur will die in the episode titled “our father” (#12). Peter will shoot him with the Haitian with him.

Now for the shocker special Claire will kill HRG in the last episode. She will feel he is against her and she had to. She will regret it forever and so will the writers since we will only get to see one of the best characters in flashbacks.

I have an interesting thought: Maybe Angela has TWO powers, because there is no other reason why she can persuade Arthur to let go of her, and then HE took her ability, and when he wiped her mind in the past, she forgot she had that ability, and it wasn’t used until Arthur “died”, when Linderman restored her memory.

If they loose their powers forever they just have the formula, but it’s risky.

What worries me is what may happen to Heroes that we don’t see on screen.

no way! i dont think killing clair or hiro will do any good to the story! their part is just too important even from the very beginning of the show. just love both characters and all of them as well! JUST PLAINLY LOVE THE SHOW! HEROES ROCKS MY WORLD! ^_^v can’t wait for the next ep. just dying to see it!

Ok, well here we are episode 10. How great compared to last year Huh??

But, alas…..how in the he?? did the hatian go from working with Angela to going back to his roots?? Ok, as I’m writing this blog, it just hit me that may be once, Angie was put into a coma, he went on a quest to find answers. Ok, does that seem logical?? because that would seem like a sure miss to go from Angie’s right hand man, to ok old girl is in a coma, i’m outta here. but maybe that is what happened. Wow, i think i just answered my own question, i feel so proud, now, i not mad anymore, maybe this season 3 story line will make sense after all, OMG all is ok in the world of heroes. this truly is a year of change.

ok, now that, that is said, it does make sense Angies goes into coma, Hatian dude runs for his life, because well, he has too, or either Angie had a preminition and told him to jet, or he’d be worse of than she will be. That being said, I also think that peter may have a chance to get his powers back now that everybody else has lost theirs, but we’ll see, becasue if he does, does that mean this eclipse is some kind of perpetual cylce that heroes are now caught up in? Everybdoy loses powers, and Peter gains, and on and on. That would seem to mean that Peter would probably find a way to predict the next eclipse to keep the cylce from repeting yes? It makes sense, becasue these eclipses are not new phenomena for the heroes abilites to manifest (begining of time?)

well anywho, that is my take on hereos thus far.
