Not a whole lot of Heroes news around the net the last few weeks, thanks in no small part to the ongoing writer’s strike, but here are just a few that surfaced. There is an interview with Zachary Quinto about his Trek 11 and Heroes schedule, Hayden is on the cover of the magazine Lucky (pictures and article excerpt below), and Masi Oka recently stopped by the Rachael Ray show and talked about his favorite sci-fi films.
Zachary Quinto talks about working on Heroes and Star Trek 11 (via):
How does the Star Trek project affect your Heroes schedule?
There are 85 days in which I will not be able to shoot Heroes. Whether or not I’m able to return to Heroes after those 85 days remains to be seen. But when you make a decision to leave one thing to pursue another you have to be aware of the risk involved. The show is going to evolve without me but I’m very hopeful that they’ll find a way to bring me back. But you never know where the stories are going to go. I believe that [the writers] know what’s best for this character so time will tell.
From Hayden’s appearance in Lucky Magazine (via). Here’s an excerpt from the article:
“Right now my style is very frenetic,” says Hayden Panettiere. “It seriously changes as quickly as my mood.” The petite 18-year-old, who stars are the (literally) invincible cheerleader on the NBC hit Heroes–and will be seen later this year alongside Julia Roberts in the drama Fireflies in the Garden–arrived at our L.A. Photo shoot and immediately made a beeline for the shoes. Before she’d even gone to hair and makeup, Panettiere had tried on every single pair we’d brought–quite an accomplishment. “I’m kind of obsessive about really stunning heels,” she says. “I get excited even taking the elevator up to the shoe floor at Bergdorf’s.”
