By Sam | February 21, 2007 (5:34 pm)

Continuing its impressive streak of Awards nominations, “Heroes” has racked up a pretty impressive count of nominations in the upcoming 33rd Annual Saturn Awards, the prestigious awards show dedicated to science fiction, fantasy, and horror works. In total, “Heroes” came away with 5 nominations, for BEST NETWORK TELEVISION SERIES, BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR IN A TELEVISION PROGRAM OR SERIES for Greg Grunberg and Masi Oka, and BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS IN A TELEVISION PROGRAM OR SERIES for Ali Larter and Hayden Panettiere. “Heroes’” five nominations was just one short of ABC’s “Lost”, but one more than “Battlestar Galactiac” and Showtime’s “Dexter”.

You can read a full list of Saturn Award nominees over at their site here. The winners will be announced at this years 33rd Annual Saturn Awards which takes place on Thursday, May 10, 2007 in Universal City. Hosting the event will be actor Greg Grunberg (!!) and comedian Jeffrey Ross.
