I loved Season 1, but from Season 2, it is shown that the script writers and director dont think about the show and characters per se anymore. Its about getting viewers, and with that, the whole essence of the show is lost.

Stupid plot twists like Mohinder gone evil (havetn seen it yet, but read it above) for example. In fact, in S2, he already had these weird motives. How dumb can a person be? In S1 at least he was an intelligent person who shed some light on teh heroes’ powers.

He’s not important in a different role. Either continue with that, or kill him off…

I agree. Heroes used to be great. Season 1 showed the most potential. A week couldnt go by without me missing an episode. The plot for the show was that of people (of different backgrounds and ethnicities) around the world realising that they possessed abilities that took made them super-human.

The producers listened to the rabid, ever-complaining viewers thereby reducing the characters to those who hold close links to the Petrelli family – In short, Heroes starts to look more like the “Petrelli Show”. The real essence that drew MILLIONS in Season one is gone and now ratings are falling.

I disagree with whoever said Heroes gives us answers every week. They’re still so much that we don’t know.

I love Heroes but I don’t feel that the writing is exceptional or anything. You can speculate but there’s only so much you can conclude. I love Lost because I feel like the possiblities are endless. Maybe that’s why a lot of people may have stopped watching Lost.

But Hereos and Lost are two seperate shows with two different themes.

I live in Thailand and i watch heroes together with my friends. It seems to me it has a pretty big fanbase all around the world. Don’t understand why people want the show cancelled.

I have to say that I’m a very devoted fan to both Heroes and Lost. I started watching Heroes online just a month or so before season 3 premiered. I have to be honest that while watching season one I was reminded of Lost because of the characters. Lost and Heroes, are similar in my opinion, because each show is about the characters and how they interact. The Lost crew are stranded on an island and it seems apparent that it was their fate to be there. The island is not just an island. It’s special.

Hereos is about a group of people who discover they have amazing abilities. Once again these people are fated to be something more than what they are.

All of these characters, whether they’re from Heroes or Lost, are connected to each other somehow. That’s what I love about both shows. There are so many possibilities for why things happen. The speculation never ends. I love them both equally!

theres always someone trying to bring a show down i love heroes so much i dont think it will ever get cancelled i mean its got too big a following to get shut down think of prison break for example its the exact same storyline season 1 escape prison season 2 on the run at the end get caught put in another prison season 3 escape that prison season for on the run from the company while trying to take it down yet they wont shut it down why because its fanbase is far to high dont get me wrong i watch prison break religiously the point im making is that as long as the true heroes fans keep watching the show wont be cancelled so come on people keep watching!!!!!!!!!!!

I am from the Philippines and I, together with my friends watch the show and love it so much. I haven’t watched Lost because I think I’d just waste my time for it…since there is HEROES anyway <—and it’s totally spinning us crazy. I admit season 2 wasn’t that great — but this ongoing season is getting the FIX — and we the Filipinos totally love it. Although I have to admit as well some errors like how characters get to shift personalities so suddenly and all … but there’s a lot more of Heroes and the show isn’t over yet!!! we’ll just have to wait what’s up Kring’s sleeves.

I agree with heroesnow, Lost and Heroes are 2 very different shows. Personally, I think Heroes is a lot better of a show, but I won’t go into that. I think the drop in ratings is because many viewers think that this season is like the last season when it is clearly not. They didn’t watch it from the beginning of season 3 b/c they expected another version of season 2. I think that by the middle of the season, ratings will pick up b/c ppl will se that this season is much better than the last.
