“VOLUME FIVE: REDEMPTION” MAKES A SPECIAL TWO-HOUR DEBUT WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF A MYSTERIOUS CARNIVAL CLAN WHOSE INTENTIONS ARE UNKNOWN, WHILE FAMILIAR FACES ADJUST TO NEW STAGES OF THEIR LIVES THAT WILL CHALLENGE THEIR PERCEPTIONS OF THE WORLD AND THEIR ABILITIES.

Claire (Hayden Panettiere) struggles with adjusting to her new life in college when a mysterious death thrusts her into the spotlight once again. Elsewhere, Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) continue their noble quest to help people by promoting their abilities. Angela (Cristine Rose) fears Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) will soon discover his true identity; while Matt (Greg Grunberg) is haunted by an unexpected visitor seeking something he has lost. Tracy Strauss (Ali Larter) and H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) join forces, looking for the key to unlock the motive behind a horrific crime. Meanwhile, Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) uses his abilities for good, but he is soon called upon to aid an old friend. While the heroes adjust to their new surroundings, a mysterious carnival clan, led by ringleader Samuel (Robert Knepper), sets their sights on familiar faces.

i'm so disapointed with how the season ended. feels like heroes are trying to become lost. i think i had enough of this show, not coming back to watch it :|

That's right. The main actors never die off. We won't see much of "Sylar" in Volume 5 because several episodes have already been shot, and during that he was working on his Spock character for the new Star Trek movie. I thought they covered this cliff hanger well.
I thought this volume was one of the better ones. Volume 2 seemed like they were searching for new story lines, & volume 3 was messy because some of it was filmed during the writers strike. New characters all the time. It was refreshing to see that they are back in the game now. I can't wait for next season.
I hope they find a good story line for Parkman though.......he's kind of a "nowhere" character. All of his plots are abrupt. It's like they are trying to find the right "story line" for him & can't.
I think they should bring back Daphne! That would make Matt's story line interesting....you know, with him trying to recapture his old life.
I also agree with the person who said Sylar's dad won't die right away. There was no reason for Sylar to mention that to Claire in the Season Finale unless they have something else planned for the dad.

okay I think sylar's dad will be a great idea if he takes Clair’s power and become dangerous enemy, I was so disappointed with the last episode I didn't like the story end that's Nathan is dead and Syler took his place, there's something I can't understand how syler was flying after throwing Nathan he came from the window flying in the same time when peter takes Sylar's power he couldn't fly after them so how could Sylar fly?

i don't think he sylar can fly i think he can sort of float or maybe he got the abilty to fly from another person with an abilty because when dont see all the people he has killed to get so many abilties and he only wanted to cut open nathans head to take all of his memories so that he can fool everyone and get to the president

it is possible he can fly. Remember angela taught sylar how to empathise to gain abilities ( he did this with Kirsten Bells character elle) so it is possible that through gaining all of nathans memories he managed to "empathise" and gain the ability to fly?
