The whole show is getting totally BS. Why didn't they just use Claire's blood to resus Nathan as they did with Noah in Season 2 Ep 9 “Cautionary Tales”????? Totally f'd up. So many holes in the story I don't even know where to begin.
e.g. Once upon a time in texas – Noah doesn't know who Sylar is, yet in season 2 He and Elle “create” Sylar from Gabriel.
Earlier – Arthur Patrelli – why assasinate Nathan? Why not just mind fk him like he does to everybody else, esp Angela?
Lauren, no mention of her as Noah's partner as it was always the Haitian and before him it was Invisible man. Now all of a sudden Noah is single and they bring in “lauren”. If she was a special (one of them, one of us) she would have been locked up with Danko's reign and “lost” her job
Hiro and Peter are probably the most powerful “heroes” but they keep making complete fkn asses of themselves. especially Hiro who it transpires was Kenzo.
Just running out of ideas. This had the potential to be better than X-men as the Heroes were “normal” humans whom we could identify with.
Tim Kring – fire the writers, recall series3 and 4 and rewrite a decent story. although at the end of season 1 not much left in the way of villians to fight.
Is this series going the same way as “24″

Hm, I see an the main page, that the show will move at Jan 11 to a later slot, which usually isn't a good sign. Did I overlook something? They have a banner on the left though, where they say something about “new season new time mondays 8/7c”.
So I'm not sure, what I should think about it. Why move now to a later slot and bring the new season back to the old time?

The network has realeased the airtime for next season's shows, i'd assume the shows not canceled

This is exactly what I've been saying since she met Magneto (Samuel) for the first time in her dorm room! At the end of that episode she gets pissed at Noah for pulling a gun on the invisible girl and Magneto… but wait… he did that because they killed her room mate, tried to kill her bestest friend, tried to kill him, and tried to kill Claire. And she's okay with this? Absolutely ridiculous. It's not logically consistent even in the slightest. I find this incredibly irritating.

Apparently we actually do! The writing they've been giving us is clearly not what we want to see. So far, everyone has something they really want to see changed and something they can't stand about the show. Apparently Heroes keeps it's crowds by being jerks to the viewers.

I agree with you both. They definitely need to end it with Nathan.

All the constant death/rebirth has desensitized us to any situation these characters have been put in. They "killed" charlie in the first season but now Hiro has brought her back. It would seem that no one can actually be killed. At this point, the writers are removing any impact that a character death might have.

I'm a little conflicted on what you have to say here. I, myself, prefer a situation to stay very black and white. I like Hiro the most because, no matter what, he always makes the right decision. With the exception of this season, he's always done the "Oh crap something bad happened... well that's life" and he's continued to try to help as many people as possible.

However... very black and white isn't an interesting story. The problem with having good characters being good and bad characters being bad (besides the idea that if something "acts like a duck, it's a duck") is that it's very difficult to pull off - especially well. I would definitely say that the writers for Heroes are not up to this task after seeing the blunt literary instruments they've used over the course of the show.

This story arc is so contrite and has been so overdone that you don't need to be nice by saying “kinda” here. Claire is such a boring/vanilla character that virtually anyone can disseminate what's going to happen with her. Most annoyingly, all the issues she finds important are incredibly droll and obviously not important. For example, her entire reaction to her room mate killing herself was “wow that kinda sucks.” In contrast, the issues she thought were important were “I want a normal life!” Still barking up that tree, huh?
