Well, if Peter is going to be searching for a cure for Hiro, wouldn't it be possible that he could team up with Ando in this search? And if Ando were to “supercharge” Peter, might that not result in Peter absorbing a ton of abilities or regaining the ability to absorb?

i thought when peter touched sylar at the end of season 3, he got sylars power which is empathy ? , if so y has he lost sylars ?

i think peter took hiro's time travelling…..in d promo it looked like he teleported…..maybe peter can go bak 2 d past n get bak his abilities…..or make d healer heal him…..i just cant wait 4 peter 2 have all his abilities bak……..btw this volume is getting really interesting….better the last one…..and 4 those one who doesnt like it, stop watching the show and visiting its sites or atleast stop commenting bad about it…..i'll always b hooked onto heroes till its end………

I really think that Peter is going to gain his original ability back by connecting with people as he has been. He never lost his ability to absorb more than one power at a time through empathy…he just lost his empathetic nature. The past two seasons Peter became bitter and angry from being screwed over by everyone he loves. Thus, he can only absorb abilities through touch…a more direct way of connecting to people (see the symbolism here?). Look what happened last night when he “took” Emma's power. It was more passive. He didn't even realize he had it…it wasn't a conscious decision like all the times before. I think he is on the path to reconnecting and gaining his empathy back which will enable him to hold onto more than one power.

Yes is that mean he can travel back in time? If so why not go back and take his old ability? OR may be the healer can “fix” peter as well?? with that it might be leading up to another face off between the ” carni” and “company” wouldn't it? my mind is bubbling agin.. I started to like this volume more than the previous one already what do you think

If you watch the promo, it looks like Peter might get Hiro's ability next because he appears out of thin air to stop the healer from shooting Mr. Bennet.

I think it's to do with the title. Tabula Rasa apparently means 'clean slate' or something like that so I reckon Samuel is trying to help Sylar wipe away all his old bad deeds or something like that (when will Sylar learn he is just plain evil?!).

How would he not be able to switch abilities back? Not sure I understand what you mean. If he takes Emma's power he could see sound and yeah it would do nothing but he could just touch someone and switch…..I'm placing bets on him touching his brother to steal some flight and getting more than he bargained for….he already saw Nathan do telekinesis and all he said was WHOA! I think he'll figure out he can steal Sylar's ability and turn it into the Empathy he used to have….seemingly with the help of Samuel.
