Hayden Panettiere Interview

SuperHeroHype.com has an interview with Hayden Panettiere (Claire) over at their site here. The interview is a nice combination of Hayden the actress and Claire the character, but I was surprised to hear that the cast has only seen the script (and one presumes, shot up to) Episode 4. Also, the cast has been “signed on” for 13 episodes.

We’re signed on for thirteen, as of now, I believe, and that’s probably changed since I heard and will be changing some more. We’ll hope for the best and see if we can go farther.

How to interpret this? The best case scenario would be that the show has gotten such strong buzz that NBC has already committed for a full season. But of course that would just be overly optimistic thinking.
