Hayden and Milo on Season 3, Brief Heroes Comic Con News - SPOILERS

I don’t know where to begin with this one. Basically, Kristin at E! Online caught up with Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia (for some reason, they always seem to be hanging around each other, wonder why?), and got them to talk about Heroes Season 3. And I mean they really talked about the upcoming season, as in, wow, there’s a lot to digest here! Much of the would-be SPOILERS you’ve already seen in the official promos, and at least one hint about Peter’s identity was also spoiled recently. Read on!
So it’s a pretty big article (you can read the rest of it for yourself here), but I’ll break down what I think are the “big” plot points that Hayden and Milo shared:
- Sylar is no longer the “worst thing” in the world. These “villains” that are going to be introduced are real bad boys, apparently. Do I smell a new anti-hero role for Sylar? Geez, after all the people whose heads he’s drilled holes in, that would be kind of … lame.
- The original cast will be working more closely with each other this season. Apparently everyone has learned their lesson of keeping the cast apart (via time and space!) in Season 2. Seriously, what were they thinking?
- Something in the present turns Claire into Bad Future Claire, and it has to do with the evolution of her powers. I’m guessing Claire realizes she’s now immortal, ala Adam Monroe.
- This about Peter “not being himself”:
Milo Ventimiglia shared a big fat clue about Peter’s storyline when the show resumes: “The one thing I can say is that Peter’s not quite himself this season…The second season Peter lost himself and the first season Peter was fighting himself, and in the third season, when I say Peter’s not quite himself, he’s not quite himself.” And just between you and me and the fly on the wall, I can tell you that a newly introduced character has something to do with that change…
Remember this report about a British promo video? It said: “And, perhaps the most shocking tease of all: a big bald man, incarcerated in Level 5, shouts: ‘I’m not who you think I am. I’m Peter Petrelli…’”
- No new boyfriend for Claire. (West is gone.) At least through the first 8 episodes.
- And finally, according to Masi Oka, the Powers That be plans to show “the whole first episode” of the Heroes Season 3 premiere at Comic Con. Um, I don’t think so. The episode was supposed to be 2 hours long (even sans commercials, that’s still 80 minutes), while the comic con panel is only scheduled for 60 minutes. So how could they possibly show “the whole first episode” of Season 3? That would leave no room for Q&A sessions or all the other stuff panels are meant for.

Sylar is not bad but I would like to see him defeated, a good idea would be Sylar teaming up ...

OMG.
First. I’m sooo happy Claire has no relationships so far. I liked what she said about just wanting to be apart of the core and the action. I hope the writers listen to her. She apparently knows what we, the viewers, want to see this season. Something really hard hits her about her powers…um the immortality part maybe. She gets to watch everyone she loves dies, because she’s going to outlive them. Yayness. That would make me pretty detached. Future Claire, looks awesome.
Second. Syler a good guy…groan. No way. I totally agree with the fact that he’s done way to much harm to be all forgiven and such. I mean, he killed Molly’s parents, Charlie, and a whole slew of cool people. He better be brainwashed or something.
Third. Peter is going to be so cool. I, like Kristen, just want him to go around and kick bad guy butt, but Future Peter is sounding really cool, and Milo looks hot as a bad guy.
Last, this season is looking really great and it’s cool that the actors are excited about it. It makes a difference. Two more months to go!!
Well I’m glad I took the premiere night off.

duh the haitian steals sylars memory and he forgets who he is and they get him to be a good guy then he probably realizes what happens near the end and becomes bad again and i agree with the se figures out shes immortal but i also think she figures out that shes been badly lied to like nathen really isint her real father the company probably had something to do with it saying it was nathen because hey they can control relationships take D.L and niki for example and they figured they could control nathen better then noah anyways thats probably why clair flips out and becomes i wont say “evil” but a bad ass just like noah she becomes not as innocent and starts doin questionalbe stuff.
as for peter and his scar it doesnt really make sence thought he could heal using clairs power hmm maybe he loses powers over time? maybe powers are kinda of like an talent one you have to practice to keep being good at? i dunno we will have to see

The whole Claire being evil and powerful thing makes sense but there is still something I dont get. How can she be such a threat? An earlier spoiler said that Meredith Gordon, Claire’s bio mom, would be back to teach Claire how to protect herself after an attack from sylar. How exactly is claire going to learn do this? Regeneration doesnt give her power to fight, only to recover from an attack. Adam Monroe has regeneration and he does not show signs of having superior fighting skills because of it. Is it possible Meredith shows Claire how to control fire?
Another thing, I think Heroguy made a good point. But how does being immortal make her dangerous to others? And how does that tie in with the Meredith teaching her story line?
Maybe Claire starts to develop pyrokenesis and becoomes dangerous for her adoptive familyto be near. This could cause her to need Meredith’s help in learning to control it and make her feel lees human and more like an evil phyco.
HER POWER ISNT PYROKINESIS!
peter, an old man , not sure how i feel about that:) yeah, but she could get pyrokinesis, somehow. finally the cast getting together. umm, an event in claie’s life will make her turn bad. it will have to big .
I definitly think a big event will make her go bad. The promos don’t really hint to what that will be. Does anyone think they would kill off her family. I dont think they would permenetly get rid of the bennets but they might die in an alternate reality that leads to the dark future.
umm, i think u r on to something Anne. whatever happens to make claire go bad doesn’t neccessarily have to happen in the present or even in the reality they r living in. well in an article on this site, peter walked in with a bullet in his head. so him in the promo closing his eyes to do something to stop the bullet wouldn’t make sense. unless, that was a diferent scene.
Thats a good point about Peter Tennis Ace. I had forgotton about that.

you are right tennis ace cuz peter can use tk with ease its actually his better power from the second season. first it was flying now its tk plus i wanna know more about peters powers like they need to develop it more. peter has come into contact with so many heroes that its unfair they dont give him newer abilities. i got to admit peter is the best character on this show and as for his powers they suck. regeneration, flight, radiation, phasing, telekinesis, electric manipulation, etc…
these are okay but peter needs to learn some that will help him blow up a freaking building. he needs to learn some real destructive powers that dont hurt him none. as for the scar thats a mystery.. maybe he has a run in with a villain who can take abilities away from people..
the villain hurt peter with like a knife or something and he recovered and so he took the power of regen away from him not knowing his other abilities.
or maybe another villain comes along that can switch minds and so he takes peters body and he goes bad since peter is bad thats why claire shoots him in the face and it start to heal but then all of a sudden it affects the villains mind and it stops healing and leaves what a scar… those are just guesses sorry for making this so long
