First Look at Masi Oka in Get Smart

Written by Sam | June 10th, 2008 | 2 Comments |

If you haven’t been keeping track of his burgeoning movie career, Hiro Nakamura (aka Masi Oka) will be putting down his sword temporarily and making an appearance in Warner Bros. upcoming big screen version of the Get Smart TV show starring Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway. But that’s not all — after showing up in the movie, Masi Oka and co-star Nate Torrence (who plays Lloyd) will be getting their own direct-to-DVD spin-off movie “Get Smarter: Bruce and Lloyd Out of Control”, which may or may not have been re-titled “GS: Get Bruce and Lloyd”.

For more details on the “Bruce and Lloyd” DVD, head over here. Some official and some non-official images of Masi in “Get Smart” below.

(Note: If you have iTunes, you can see 7 free minutes of “Get Smart” by downloading it to your iTune using this link. Bruce and Lloyd are featured in the first minute or so of the clip.)

I was right! I saw a trailer for Get Smart and thought I saw him in the background (he was only in the trailer I saw for 2 seconds) so I headed over here to see if there was an older article about it to get more info and I found this, a day after its posting. cool.

Get Smart looks okay overall, though Steve Carell seems to be veering more and more toward slapstick-style humor
