that drug was not suppressing her abilitie it was just keep her to doped up to use an offensive power hers still would have worked.

By the same token, the effects of alcohol (being drunk) has nothing to do with cell death. Alcohol clogs synapses in the brain and disrupts cell communication which causes a drunken state. So, if Claire can not get drunk because of her ability why then can she and/or Sylar be knocked unconscious?

That drug was actually suppressing her abilities. So in essence she could not heal from the drug that was causing her abilities not to work. Kind of a paradox.

Okay but her drinking and her body doing its whole healing thing so fast that it does not make it to her blood stream is alittle diff then drugs being injected right into her blood in high amount… but yeah I see your point.
