no i dought that the eclipse will probly happen the moment suresh perfected his version of the formula but at least one thing we can allagree on is that the writers worked on meredithe for a while. remember back in season one “company man” it showed hrg noah bennett recieving claire. from a car wreck meredeth caused it to save her self. or accidentally did and still saved herself. anyway this episode is gonna be fire i cant wait

this show is almost beynod saving… heres some things they never should have done.
Season 1 (perfect)
season 2 takezo kensei should have been chinese and should have taught hiro to harness his true potential of time travel. adam should have been a friend of hiro in that time who discovered his power. then hiro leaves and he turns evil.
West was dumb caitlin dumb actually that whole irish thing was dumb bad acters. theres to much wrong with this season if i state all that was wrong with. i wont even be able to get to season 3 (today)
Season 3 was dope. peter should not have lost his powers. thats the shows main main character. i think the writer were on something. and in that future episode wee sylar blew up cause knox killed his kid .tell me it would have been so much better for him to use maya’s power cause she wasnt in that episode so it was safe to assume sylar kiled her. onl cause her power works off of emotions and that seen was very emotional. suresh turning into beast from x-men wow four hours of make up before shoting the show not worth it id quit or have the writers fix that little problem. teres more i sorry yall i just gotta vent this show is going down and i just wanna keep it up

im sorry i disagree, the writers have purposely done all that to make the show different. If you think about it, Heroes isnt a super-hero show…like smallville or an X-Men…it’s much more deep then that! The characters have flaws and they try to overcome them, and some of them have dodgy pasts and must rectify their mistakes. It’s not all happy families and i think that’s what makes it sooooooooo BRILIANT! If you want to watch a “super-hero” show where everything works out in the end…go watch Smallville!

i think heroes is the best show ever and i liked season one but i expected mutch more of the show and when season 2 and 3 started it was exactly like i expected its a mutch beter show now i love it

yes chara but not just gold any metal he chooses to be and i was just saying in a fight it would be a good idea for elle to shock her dad if he was all metal sothen heculd get everybody else there with a bigger shock than elle can produce. and i don hink the writers did that on purpose cause if they did tim woudnt be firing them as we speak.

i dont care about who die or who remain alive, the only thing that bugs me is the fact that peter have lost his powers, and is gona take a few chapter for him to get them back, and we are gona have to see a lot of trivial stuf before that, i think that they are doing this to make the show last a litle longer, but if peter dont get them back quickly i gona have to get in my car myself and go to the writers and slap them in their faces.lol

Another thing, can someone tell me where is caitlin, couse i dont get where is she, and whi peter didn whent to where she is and get her.

Honestly, I think it was perfect the way they showed Sylar exploding in ‘I am Become Death’. It shows that they stayed with the same though from 1st season. Remember? When Peter gets emotional? And when Ted gets emotional? They start to loose control. And so did Sylar. Why bring Maya into this? The distruction wouldn’t have been that powerfull if it was with Maya’s abillities.

There are a lost of things to fix in this show, but I don’t think is that many as people keep saying.

I really think that they need to kill of for good one of the main caracters. Hiro maybe, because his history in the last season wasn’t good at all.

And I liked it how they took Peter’s abillities, altough I am a little bit afraid of how they are gonna to give him back.

Caitlin is lost in some alternative future, Peter can’t save her because somehow it doesn’t exist anymore. It’s confusing I know. But I agreem they at least could have showed that in the show.

I think the main problema is that is not a bad written show, but it is a show that you have to take a lot of guess, and not rely interely on what you see. However the majority can’t do that.

Robert Forester is a good actor but his character just sucks. He took peter’s powers so he’s like invincible but all he does is just sit there.

They also need to make hiro more important again he’s like the main character next to peter.

I can’t wait! One more hour!

I think the show is fine like it is…i bet you all are going to keep watching just to see what happens and how it turns out….if its gone so much down hill then quit watching!!!! What?? We don’t learn anything new in this episode. How many times must they rewrite the past? Is it because they wrote themselves into a corner and can no longer go forward so they must continually go back.

What is the point of this show any more, none of the interesting characters get to keep their powers. This is annoying.

I really don’t care about merideth or jessie and the stuff about arthur petrelli and linderman trying to kill nathan could have been covered in a GN. It was kinda cool to see Sylar back in the day but it was all so unnecessary. For Hiro it might be good information but for us, the viewers, we could have done without it.

i agree this episode didnt have the excitement that we all like but it did show alot about why things have went the direction they did and how we ended up where we are…i think some of this should have been revealed a long time ago though….poor hiro . Cant wait till next week.

This episode was interesting… I really liked all the tie-ins to earlier events (ie, Meredith causing the train fire that Claire runs into in season 1, Bennet getting into Suresh’s cab after the Sylar stuff).

It was a little bit of a slow episode, but sets up some interesting things for the next few episodes. I’m especially curious to see how the Sylar/Elle plot unfolds, as last we saw Elle she was running into the Pinehearst building to see Arthur, without realizing that Sylar was there also. Maybe now the tables will turn, and Sylar will help Elle get back on track (hopefully without the whole manipulation into killing thing though, haha). Also, they seemed to have a bit of a personal relationship in the past (obviously), so upon seeing each other in the present, who knows how things will unfold. Possible mother of Sylar’s kid in the future episode? Noah DID have blonde hair as I remember.

Can’t wait for next week!

I think this episode WAS exciting. How all of the stories tied in together, and nodding to earlier episodes to make things make sense. I think it was nessicary that they took away Peter’s Powers. There is only ONE Sylar. Two is just too much and over the top. This episode was a nessesity because there are so many stories and characters and cross overs, that we need some background info so we can get to the good stuff. Of course I, like everyone else, am itching for an epic “Fight of Powers” with the characters, but I think we have to wait and see what happens. Heroes is Heroes, and if you are a true fan then you will appreciate even the small episodes.

By not exciting i meant not as action packed. Definitely was a necessary and informative episode.

This episode was exactly wat i hoped for! Finally we get to see what made Sylar a monster and who pointed him to that direction, stupid Bennet he should just die!! As for Petrelli Senior, he screwed up the whole family Sylar should take his revenge on him as well. All u haters can suck it.

So what do you guys think happened to Hiro?? Someone said Arthur’s taking his powers, but my friend and I are speculating he is putting thoughts into Hiro’s head. I mean, how else would they get to a position where Ando would have to kick his ass via fireball?

But the Sylar scenes stole the whole show. Nothing like seeing Bennet back in his original element. Fantastic episode!

this episode was damn cool. it was really needed to get the viewers finally understand how things are turning out this way. i really don’t get the complainers. sometimes they say that the plot has too many questions lingering behind. when the show finally answers them,these complainers start saying how the episode was boring and unexciting. well i guess you people should start to be more mature and understand the great depths of this show. it is not shallow. it has so much meaning and variation and that is why this is such great show.

This episode was very slow. I did however enjoy the throw backs to the first season, (the best in my opinion) But first let’s get over the firings of the writers, and the poor rating of the show from outside critics who don’t care to understand. I personally, a huge fan of the show was a bit confused by this episode. Perhaps I am just too slow, or I think too much.
1.) the relationship and partnership of elle and HRG. WTF? I seemed like in the second season HRG had no respect for her, or how she was molded by the company. She was a sociopath. Even in the first chapter/season Noah was in the grey area of company policy, but this episode made him seem like a super strict agent, and Roberts character(name?) the one who was in the grey area by letting Meridith go. (I will get to that later) It would have seemed in earlier episodes that noah and Elle had never worked together, had no history, but yet here they are dealing with the first major and coolest villain since bubbles the clown who lived under my bed and tried to slice my ankles. (sorry, childhood trama.)
2.) the story line and developing trailer trash Barbie mom meridith and her worthless brother flint is as usefull as a piss flavored lollipop. I don’t care about them, and to be honest, in the realm of powers, the seem pretty weak! Hell, old school agent played by Roberts stopped flint with a fire extinguisher for F’s sake. And then while trying to get them back into the company he doesn’t even bring one with. And then for no reason at all, he lets Trailer Trash go free. When did he question policy, and why? She is not worth it. He was wanting to take clair from his friend noah.
3.) How did Arthur get to Africa so fast? Why wasn’t ando noticing African dude leaving the tent, why didn’t affrica for see it? And Hiro’s powers are possibly gone too? Lloks like he will have to follow a turtle back to America like parkman.

The good things…. I like reaching back to the old days… some of the tie ins were goos, just not set up right. Plus seeing how bad ass Arthur is to try and kill his own son was neat, and sylar struggling with the loss of his humanity gave his character depth, though it would be nice to have seen that visited a little more. I do have hope though. I have hope that worthless characters will get killed off, and that time travel will be less of the plot lines. Also that powers will comeback naturally/even if slowly(peter/hiro). And that the show will become more of a reality based program. Enough with the effects, lets see some real drama, some real character depth… I enjoy the FX but the best scenes for me are ones where the FX are not needed. The scenes where the characters story is enough…(like the Russian roulette scene with doyle.)

Decent episode. Not the best… keep trucking Heroes, I am still watching. Oh and can we get a better trailer for next week???

As for episode 8, that was everything I love about Heroes, everything interconnected and overlapping. I loved how the Meredith, Flint, and Thompson story dovetailed into Claire with the train. I rewatched the scene where Meredith was talking to Flint when she was putting the metal guy in Cell 9 and I know Flint said “An invisible man tackled me in the alley.” Now Claude was MIA and presumed Dead at this point and according to his Company File, Claude is the only one they know of with invisibility, so if Claude did tackle Flint, it certainly wasn’t to help the Company as he’s shown time and again and it’s documented in his profile that Claude has rejected them. It’s also possible someone with telekinesis got Flint and it felt like someone tackling him. Also, other than Meredith, Thompson is not shown with a partner. Very strange.

I liked insight into the Petrelli clan, and Linderman. Linderman actually seems like a decent guy. I know Arthur has to have stolen that telepathic command trick from someone as his primary power is power absorption/stealing-permanent. I’m also curious why the Haitian (he so needs a name, and if I’m told it’s Barn LeCroix I’ll eat my hat!) is so loyal to Angela.

I can totally see how Elle felt sorry for Sylar and HRG is back as the loyal Company man we recall so well. I can also postulate that after that Assignment, Elle likely got both benched and disciplined (which accounts for this character’s absence until season 2) and also why she’s so driven in both Seasons 2 and 3 to catch Sylar… she feels responsible for helping create him as a monster.

I’m wondering why Arthur just killed Utusu. Surely he could steal his power. I’m thinking it’s a good thing Ando has no power as he would be a target also.

Spoilers say that Arthur makes Hiro think he is 10 years old. So, he doesn’t lose his powers, but is rendered useless. Also, to answer some questions, Arthur (if he indeed has all of Peter’s powers) could have teleported to Africa. Also, Arthur does not need Usutu’s ability…he has Isaac’s power that he stole from Peter.

So, I’m in the UK and haven’t seen this episode yet… How about Arthur has Maury ability and put all of this in Hiro’s Ando and Usutu’s head? Else, how did he get to Africa? If he had Hiro’s ability via Peter and he time travelled there, this is why he didn’t Kill Hiro, he seems to only Kill bad guys? So, he took his memory so that Hiro couldn’t prevent what is going to happen in Episode 13.

BTW, I’ve read ahead as far as I can on this site to where Peter and Nathan team up with the Hatian to battle Samedi… he sounds cool, what will his ability be and why would they battle him?

PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME HOW PETER GETS HIS ABILITIES BACK??? He has too otherwise Heroes isn’t Heores. Also, a bit confused, who is Angela’s fav - Peter or Sylar? Who is the most powerful? Peter surely as he absorbs powers from being near someone and has the natural good nature - ability to love unconditionally which can only be used for good - or what he beleives is good! The greater good…

Hi did anyone else notice that shortly after Sylar had killed (for only the second time) that it was strange how HRG was walking with Elle (who was still seething about Sylar) and then HRG got into the taxi with suresh? What happened to the whole time inbetween this killing and where sylar left the messages on Papa Suresh’ answer machine and killed several others and eventually killed Papa Suresh? and as a result of this Mohinder travelling to New York and getting employed as a taxi driver etc? Must have been one hell of a long walk for Elle and HRG for all this to occur! Otherwise great episode and can’t wait til next week!

I dunno why exactly but I liked this new episode alot less than the others. It was missing something, can’t put my finger on It.

I agree this episode was a little slow - but I reckon that says a lot about the show (to be one of the slower episodes but still loving every second of it).

These flashbacks are necessary, not only does it tie up and answer a lot of questions we’ve all had, it gives further insight to character relationships, and with more character information we see them differently, like now maybe angela petrelli isn’t so bad afterall. Lastly it sets up a lot to look forward to, breaking the season up a little.

On the topic of Peter losing his powers, firstly yes it was necessary to get rid of sylars hunger that was turning him evil, secondly am i the only one who was finding it starting to get boring, with so many powers he was practically unstoppable, the only interest coming when he faught sylar to see how they would both mix up their powers in a duel.

Of course he is going to get his absorbing power back, he is the main hero, but so much more interesting with him all of a sudden as the underdog. The more heroes that get taken down (now poor hiro - love that guy great comic relief) the more I want to watch to see how they are gonna stop this guy. Unfortunately i fear that it will be an anticlimax with the Haitian stepping in. Then again have been so many things I havent seen coming and loved al
