Discussion Thread: Heroes Season 3 Episode 23 (3.23) 1961

Well, it’s raining like cats and dogs around here, so instead of waiting for later tonight, I thought I’d just go ahead and create the discussion thread for tomorrow’s episode, the first of three final episodes of Heroes Season 3, titled “1961″. The episode promises to explore Angela’s long-buried (literally, it would appear) past, and how and what started her on this road she’s currently on. And not just Angela, but also Mohinder Suresh’s family past is uncovered. Here is your official discussion thread for this weeks’ new episode, Heroes 3.23, “1961″.

THE HAUNTING SECRETS OF ANGELA PETRELLI’S PAST CAN’T STAY BURIED FOREVER

As Nathan (Adrian Pasdar), Claire (Hayden Panettiere), Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) and H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) help Angela (Cristine Rose) uncover her past, she reveals the dark secrets that have haunted her for years. Meanwhile, Mohinder (Sendhil Ramamurthy) learns of his father’s involvement in a long forgotten government operation.

Diana Scarwid, Alexa Nikolas, Laura Marano, Ravi Kapoor, Casey Kringlen, H. Michael Croner and Edwin Hodge guest star.

You guys ever heard of that precedure when the break your legs and seperate them and they grow together longer making you taller, if claire did that over and over again that she could be a lot taller; to bad hayden p cant do that in real life.

Peter isn't gunna die. Everyone knows that. They wouldn't kill off one of the most important characters.

Angela dies hence the next volume, "Redemption". And we know that the writers are going to try to make the "future scene" that we saw in the first season somewhat plausible although it will not be the same(some characters have died).

They need to keep Sylar. He's a main character and is under contract. Its good when they bring in new villians like the awesome Knox, but too many people like Sylar

since sylar is acting as nathan there going to kill nathan since he will still be on the payroll with sylar having the shape shifting ability.

HEY what ever happened to microwave boy with sylar. You guys think he killed him or since they were on the same wave lenth sylar used his latent empathy and obsorbed the power.

I don't think Luke was killed by Sylar. Sylar just left him at the restaurant where he had his flashback of his mother being killed. And Sylar hasn't demonstrated Luke's power yet, so at this point we don't know if he has the power or not.

Man I can't wait for this episode! However, I have a feeling not only will we have a lot of questions answered, we will have a lot more asked.

I've known/suspected for a long time that peter would die. His never ending quest to be someone special was very boring, not that Claire's quest @ getting a normal life was fun, but she gave that up long time ago, but one of them had to go.

Weather controller ey... sounds really cool... I'm a total X-men freak so I'll get a kick out of this.

ok people get your stories straight peter is not going to die. tim kring has already said that peter isnt going anywhere plus he also confirmed that the death of peter that was talked about was the death of future peter in i am become death.

ah, ok... no no, I just suspected that he was going to die since it was said that he was gonna leave the show and then they made it possible for him to die when they made him in the way he is now (only 1 power at the time) unlike sylar.

I'd say Peter is just about the only indespensable character on the show. And he's not even my favorite character. (see Name) His death would kill the show. The tagline from Season 1 was "Save the Cheerleader...", but Peter was definitely the main protagonist. Still is, if you ask me. I have my own suspicions about who is going to die, but Peter isn't even on my radar.

About the episode: All of the promo photos for "I am Sylar" have got me looking past this one. But I've loved the past flashback episodes. And, I'm excited about finding out more about Angela, the Petrellis, and The Founders. Tomorrow can't come soon enough.
