Discussion Thread: Heroes Season 3 Episode 21 (3.21) Into Asylum

Tracy Strauss is (probably) gone, Micah is (sorta) back, and Angela and Peter are in hiding from The Hunter. Speaking of which, The Hunter has a little indecent proposal to consider from everyone’s favorite superpowered serial killer. Sylar wants to be friends, so he can be the only one left. It’s an offer The Hunter should probably accept, lest Sylar breaks out the finger on him. Meanwhile, Claire and bio dad Nathan are down south in Mexico doing cheerleader and bio dad bonding stuff, one presumes. Here’s your official discussion for this week’s new episode, Heroes 3.21, “Into Asylum”.

AS THE GAME OF CAT AND MOUSE ESCALATES, DANKO FINDS HIMSELF A SURPRISING NEW ALLY

Now that Nathan’s (Adrian Pasdar) ability has been revealed and he has lost control of his operation, he and Claire (Hayden Panettiere) go into hiding in Mexico. With Emile Danko (guest star Zeljko Ivanek) now in control of the government operation, his plan to destroy everyone with abilities is set into motion as he teams up with an unlikely partner. Meanwhile, Angela (Cristine Rose) and Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) seek refuge in a church and begin to mend their broken relationship.

Kevin Alejandro also guest stars.

Tracy's not gone: Bryan Fuller says so on the commentary - http://heroesspoilers-odi.blogspot.com/2009/03/... (warning, spoilers for Tracy's future story arc). They added the wink/tear to make sure everyone knew she wasn't dead, since they know how much people have gotten annoyed with dead characters coming back.

Tracy became just like Iceman... she can now turn into living ice... that's so cool.

I think and hope everyone is wrong about Peter getting his power back. I hope that he retains angela’s power not throuhg his normal empathy; but through the tools he already has of touch empathy. Like his dad he holds on to her and fully removes her power. With that ability he could fully remove sylars powers as well thus solving the sylar problem effectively.

Also for you guys who love the underdog theory; peter would need the other heroes help to take sylar down and the baby parkman can turn off sylars ia power in peter when his powers get taken.

Spoilers ay that there would be tthree deaths this season and that one would be a fakeout and the other two would be legit. I read bryan Fuller's article so i know Tracey is the fake out and Daphne is gone for good. In the heroes magazine this month it said Peter was going to die and that people would be upset with the last episode when peter and sylar fight. They cant seriuosly ax peter though right. I mean, he was so big in the genesis arc.Who do you think is going to get killed but not return

if peter or sylar leave the show, nbc will make a big mistake if they confirm a 4th season.
this two cant be touched, angella is the only answer of a lot interogations, i hardly think it's her.

i want claire or HRG out (together they begin to be rediculous) and more women in the 4th season if there's one.

sadly i think sylar will die but i'm hoping for nathan just so it fits the first future better.

i've heard theories that sylar mimicked samsons powers and he used that sedation ability on doyle i wonder if its true(i thought he just drugged him or beat him into unconciousness with tk or something)

I strongly suspect what Sylar is planning is help Danko get rid of the others and then get rid of Danko and Danko is planning to use Sylar as a resource to get rid of all specials and then kill Sylar. As for who will actually wind up killing whom in the end, that's tough to say. It will be a fight to see I'm sure.

1 thing that I know, if sylar or peter leave the show then I think ima call it quits.. I like the suttle blink to let us kno that tracy isn't dead.. but it shud be a banger 2maro at 8pm central!!!!!

Seriously, they need to as some sexual tension to these characters.. I mean really? all of the female characters are do-able.. so why not add some love triangles.. I think Peter hooking up with daphne on the side and Matt finding out about it would be a great ratings booster..

Daphne dead? Nah.. Baby brings her back in episode 23

I certainly hope the DO NOT start into sappy love story triangles, blah, blah, blah. Then I would have to stop watching, besides there is plenty of that out there already
And by the way Ali Larter still has a job because Nicky was a triplet, for anyone that was not paying attention back a couple of episodes when Tracy met her maker, there was quite a bit of genetic manipulation going on in that last generation!
