Discussion Thread: Heroes Season 3 Episode 16 (3.16) Building 26
Questions abound in Monday night’s Heroes episode, titled “Building 26″. What is the mysterious building 26? Who is the mysterious Rebel that is texting our heroes? With Nathan’s people watching, how far can Claire go before she’s snatched up by the Hunter again? And oh yeah, what is the fate of Daphne, who we last saw shot and bleeding and near death? So many questions, so little answers. Here is your official discussion thread for Heroes Season 3 Episode 16, “Building 26″.
THE BEST LAID PLANS OF NATHAN PETRELLI OFTEN GO AWRY
Nathan’s (Adrian Pasdar) plans face exposure as Homeland Security begins an investigation under direct orders from the President of the United States. Sylar (Zachary Quinto) and Luke (guest Dan Byrd) embark on a road trip to find Sylar’s father, but are secretly being hunted by Nathan’s agents. Life gets complicated for the Bennet family as Claire (Hayden Panettiere) goes into action to protect a young man with abilities (guest star Justin Baldoni) from being captured by HRG (Jack Coleman). Elsewhere, Matt’s (Greg Grunberg) prophetic images lead Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) to India and a mysterious ally comes to the aid of our Heroes.
Ashley Crow, Randall Bentley and Amrapali Ambegaokar also guest star.

Can’t wait to see this episode (esp. Tracy’s scenes) tomorrow night!
yeah no doubt. it really seems like heroes is back were it started. i think the show can only get better from here on out
I definitely think that the show is getting back to basics, which is a great thing. There is actually a lot of mystery, which is why the first season was so good. I will say this, though. I was not happy with the disturbing Sylar torture scens from last episode, so I hope that those do not continue to be so grueseome.
what was wrong with that Sylar is a beast and thats whats cool about him hes so evil he is sylar ;D
What happend to Sylars creepy cool voice he had in season 1 remember when i killed pete he said ” i remember you ” and it sounded so creepy he should get that back it sounded so cool
=D
Andrew, Sylar is the villain of the show – always has been, always will be. There have been a few here and there, but that’s just his character. Understandably there might be a few graphic things on an episode here and there that people might get offended by, but it’s TV and you move on with it.
I’m waiting for the part when “our Heroes” ask for Sylar’s help to take down the Hunter and his agents ^^
I can’t wait for that either, and he is bound to help out. Set aside their differences and take down the government!
Cant wait!!
anrewK are you gay/ you dont like blood it’s not even like it showed that much peter usually gets blodier than that comon man grow up
I appoligise if I have offended anybody, because that was not my intention. I’m just as big a Sylar fan as anyone, please do not get me wrong. The thing is this. I am 13, and it is on and off on whether or not I am allowed to watch. I love Heroes, and the blood and gore does not bother me but… Watching it with my dad as he takes notes is VERY uncomfortable. I simply do not want to lose the privelige to watch the show, that is all.
I am 13 and i watchit with my younger brother who is 8 lol!! sucs 4 u! get a life
IM 13TH boo yah lol , anyway so is daphne dead or not????
yah I agree with AndrewK i mean i dont mind the gore but i think it should be a every 5 or 6 episode thing instead of every episode. just so it’ll really make sylar look badass cause if he kills too many people it gets old
by the way i heard that daphne isnt really dead.
the ending was awsome
breathing under water…i figured they could come up w/something a little better than that.
the ending was sweet
I don;t know, I wish I cold breath underwater… I’d go look for treasure haha
damnit, i can’t spell
“breathing under water…i figured they could come up w/something a little better than that”
In a way I figured so too. But I gotta admit it is pretty cool. Not the coolest but oh well. ;-D
Was not impressed by the whole Tracey thing. I’m not that big on Tracey but I was hoping for more.
Noah leaving did kinda make me sad. I’m glad CLaire told her mom the truth cause Noah is lying all the time and for what? No really. Why does he lie all the time? What is he hiding?
I can’t freakin’ wait to see what happens next week. The ending was the best part of tonight’s episode in my opinion!
Anybody have the link to this episode yet!!!
I never really thought about it until the ending of this episode (or rather the preview for next week’s ep right after it), but HRG is pretty much the Severus Snape of Heroes(feel free to deduct cool points as necessary–I’m already waaaaaaaay in the hole -_-”). I smell another ‘Company Man’ type episode.
Am I the only one who thought the whole Hiro and Ando in India thing was kinda lame? Not only did it seem a bit random (Yes, I know Parkman drew it, so it wasn’t EXACTLY random), but the whole point of it was to make Hiro feel special (again) while stealing Ando’s moment to shine. I love Hiro, but he’s turning into a duche. However, Masi himself is still one of my favorite actors on the show. The writers for his character however…they need to get their grip on Hiro Nakamura. First he was all angsty because of Future Ando “killing” him (I still believe it was more of an ‘incapacitation’ rather than murder), now he’s angsting because Ando has powers and he doesn’t…If the writers are trying to soften the blow for if they decide to kill Hiro, they’re geniuses. If not, save Hiro’s good name and quit making him act so insecure!!
Breathe underwater, huh? Sounds like the creative team is scraping the bottom of the barrel as far as powers go…but then again, they can’t all be winners, right? I just had to get that particular gripe off my chest. That one’s not to be taken seriously.
In fact, I may sound kinda gripey today, but I do love Heroes and I’ll continue to be a fan no matter what. I think it’s actually a compliment to a show when it captivates its fans’ imaginations so much. I mean, take Chuck for example–also a pretty decent show, but I doubt there’s nearly as much speculation and concern flying around that show as there is for Heroes.
There are haters, and then there are fans who voice their thoughts and opinions because they care. I’m glad to say that I love this show warts and all
No you’re absolutely correct with the whole Hiro and Ando in India thing. And it’s funny how the so called “above the law” holier than thou Indian husband guy got a blody nose from little ol Hiro and called it quits. I kept waiting for Hiro and Ando to get attacked by the Indian mafia or something.
