I thought this chapter is on Season 4, I little bit confuse, does season 3 ends at episode 13th??

Like most TV shows, Heroes is divided into seasons, as defined by most network tv shows, but to NARRATIVELY divide the show, it's divided into volumes, each one being more or less a separate story.

If I'm not mistaken:

Season 1 was pretty much volume 1 ("Genesis")
Season 2 was volume 2 ("Generations")
Season 3 is being split between two different storylines, "Villains" and currently "Fugitives".

your an idiot dude, peter's power is his own. People with their theories. We know that peter absorbs abilities its been clear from the start what he has been capable of doing. The question now is how the writers on heroes are going to address how his "genetic" predisposition to having multiple powers have changed to one at a time. Hopefully its actually behavioural and peter just has to learn to open up again.

Peter with only one power at a time----I think this IS his original ability. He only flew after direct contact with Nathan, then when he fell off the roof after touching the cheerleader he healed (he wasn't able to fly down) THEN it was only after a little tussle with Sylar straight after that he started picking up more than one thing at a time. Sylar had also previously got Hiro's girlfriend from the cafe and took her power which was to learn things really quickly and understand them.

The phone thing and rebel---- I also thought straight off that it might be the woman from season one who could control the internet and send messages with her head. She was only in the show for 5 minutes then disappeared. Whatever happened to her? Her, Parkman, Ted ( who else was there?) were like "lets go find primatech and find out why they are tagging people with powers" then she was never seen again. Did the actress that played her get a part on another show, or even die maybe, or something like that? I also thought it could be Micah, OR ( this is a bit far out) maybe even Nathan. Perhaps he is only doing this because he is forced into it and is trying to do what he can. (yeah I know that theory is a bit rubbish)

Sylar's prodigy----who else noticed that he WROTE the address of his dad down instead of talking out loud. I think he figured out that he could lie to Sylar by writing down some false information and Sylar wouldn't detect the lie because he didn't speak it. I hope they get a good famous actor to be Sylar's dad. Perhaps a big star in the Tom Cruise/Kurt Russel sort of league maybe? Also, it might be quite cool if Luke turns out to be Sylar's dad or something like that. I first htought he's probably Sylar's young brother or something but then I had a thought- what if he is either getting younger as time goes by, OR he travels time at some point (why not- half of them have done it already) and ends up becoming Sylar's dad in the past. That would explain why Sylar's dad kept fairly close to his younger self and confided in him and why he knew to hit the road out of the neighbourhood before the whole government crackdown was about to start. Far fetched I know- but just an idea .

Daphne---- I don't think she is dead. 1st of all she might survive from the bullet wounds. 2nd- Claire was standing right beside her and got shot loads of times, with blood going everywhere. There's a good chance some blood got on Daphne and she got healed. they could easily bring her character back through a quick flashback to some blood flying through the air and onto her and then she wakes up 10 minutes later and runs away ( or she gets captured). She might even blame matt for leaving her behind and get angry if they want to turn her into a baddie.


Hiro/Ando---- It's obvious that in that future scene where Ando 'kills' Hiro that they are arguing because only one of them can be saved or something and they each want to save the other. So, Ando zaps Hiro so that he will be able to use his power. I also think that will be the way Hiro gets to use his power. If Ando zaps him then he will be able to use some of his power. Also he could just wait until another eclipse, or the writers could do the same thing as before when he thought he had lost his power, maybe he will be able to bring them back again on his own. I'm sure the writers could have Dr Suresh explain something to do with adrenaline surges and Hiro's brain being in the right state and stuff like that.


In the beginning of Season 2 Nathan got a warning cos he went to see his kids. His wife has a restraining order against him and he is not allowed to come near her or them.

All I have to say is that I am really tired of Claire standing by her father HRG. How many times does he have to been seen as the bad guy for her to understand that he is not a good person. In every volume he is seen rounding up people with powers and locking them away. Granted in villians they were in fact "villians" but even in the first volume everyone thought he was a bad guy. I think that Claire needs to wise up and stop caring about her father. The poor girl has now been disappointed by both her fathers. I think that letting him go will make her much stronger and a better "hero"

I think the rebel is Angela Petrelli.

Reasons why:
Think realistically, she knows her grandaughter’s phone number because she is her grandma.
Also she faxed Ando and Hiro, this shows how old and official she is that she still faxes people instead of email.
She can see the future in her dreams. So she knew Ando and Hiro would eventually go to India, so she faxed the message to them weeks earlier.
HRG is still working for her and they are planning something behind Nathans back. Perhaps she just wants to capture the bad super humans and let the good ones free (unlike Nathans Plan to capture everyone with powers).

There is a chance that Angela is texting so fast with the help of that girl from season 2 who can connect to the internet with her mind (she worked for the company too, remember.)

Where are Micah, Monica, and Molly? Their storylines were so fun and interesting. Besides the kids attract younger viewers! I hope they return if HRG has to go get them, and Claire warns them sort of like she did to Alex, in Building 26.

I think boogeyman has a valid point there about the hunger, it definetly changed Peter. This theory got me thinking and yes, that might have been it that the hunger was something future Pete knew would come along... BUT, it also came through that Sylars power is understanding, and knowing how stuff works. The idea of that power is kind of interesting, but when you think about it "the hunger" is such a part of knowing and understanding everything, since of course if you know stuff, you want to learn more. Interesting theory.

BTW, Peter didn't get his original empathy from Sylar, no. The point still is tho, Sylar has that power too, and it seems as if Sylar and Peter have the same power of empathy. This of course doesn't match with Sylar's ability being to understand stuff, but somehow he has it. I'm of course again referring to the passing of power from Elle to Sylar.

Matt was the bomb in this ep! He should definetly use his powers to turn teammates on each other in the future! EPIC!

Did one of the pics Matt drew show Hiro with his powers back?

And ideas on who Rebel could be: either Micah (though I don't think so, i hope they've tied off his story) or Hana Giselmen (?) from season 1 perhaps. Maybe a completely new character, the trailer (^ up top ^) showed claire talking with some new guy...

AND CLAIRE NEEDS TO CHANGE HER MAKE UP SCHEME, I was really turned off! lol

Hiro has been loosing his accent since the end of volume 3 but one word every so often.

I agree Peter will get his power back through Syler but lets be clear...He did not get his original empathic mimicry from Syler. Peter drew the future while he was recovering from his fall in the hospital and Issac wasn't present, this happened before he saved the cheerleader.

In the future Ando was not trying to give Hiro anything. Hiro told him he betrayed him and Ando wanted the formula. Neither one of them had any good intentions towards the other.

Peter is becoming the hard ass from five years gone just like Hiro is also starting to change not by much but he is starting to get a clue, being hunted will cause him to mature a little faster. I think Peter will get his scar by the end of this volume by the hunter.

One more thing Peter's personality was changed when he got the hunger...Before he got the hunger he was still soft and emotional. Watch the scene in the bank it was the last time he did anything before he got the hunger then watch him after he gets the hunger a whole new personality due to the hunger then watch him after he looses his powers that personality is adjusted due to not having the hunger anymore but he is no longer emotional.

The hunger changed Peter and I think this is what future Peters plan was when he told Peter to get Sylers power...he even referred to him self as being naive. Hell we don't even know if his power in the future was to touch and absorb cause he had every power around.

But the answer has to be the hunger.

There's also the issue of whether you believe the subtitles Hiro saw when witnessing future Hiro and Ando arguing as being accurate or Hiro mishearing them. If anyone cares to go back and check they actually do not match the dialogue being spoken. If you lip-read (and it's not that hard to do this, I am usually crap at lip-reading and picked it up immediately) Hiro actually says "This was MY mission" and Ando replies "Then you have failed". Now whether this was deliberate or not for me detirmines what will occur in the future. Did the editors simply choose this as they didn't think anyone would try and lip-read or was it a plot that they chose to reject later or is it something that will be discovered later in the volume (or future volumes)? I can't decide either way. Not that many people noticed so it's not been addressed properly but I think it's something that should be taken into consideration.

oh and if the whole Hiro and Ando in the future thing WILL happen, then does that mean other futures will happen (Peter and his EPIC scar, etc.) ?

Yeah, i think this has been so far the best episode from season 3! People using powers but with a good and interesting story. I just luv this show and the story the writers are giving to us so far is so season 1. Season 1 is the best, i find good season 2, season 3 (vol. 3)was good in other aspect (so many special effects)but so confused, now (vol 4)so far EXCELLENT . . . i already read all theories above and i find them very interesting.

why si everyone complaining about matts power? its good the way it is now, no more overpowered/imbalance people, and its logical that he gets it since its a "mental" ability, and the other chars could more or less learn other powers if its related to his original.
example: if peter can absorb powers, he its logical that he can evolve and take them away or that tracy would also be able to control fire in the future, since its still elemental bending, and maybe all elements after that.

I prefer hiro powerless too, make him into the "oracle" type of char in the show.

just watched it again. When Hiro says he must get his powers back to help stop this terrible menace he definately has almost no japanese accent. Very interesting. Ando even looks at him a little funny after that

Not sure if I was too under the influence when I watched this but did it sound to anyone else that Hiro's accent seemed to be getting less thick and more like Future Hiro at the very end of this episode?

Yeah, I noticed his accent changing from the start of the episode (weird cos he wasn't doing it at all in his 'lair'). Masi always said it'd be an organic progression to make him future Hiro i.e. with an American accent but I'm not 100% sure if it was deliberate in this instance. Personally I'm not bothered either way but I did get a little excited at the prospect of a return of future Hiro (from season 1, not the dull one from volume 3 who's not nearly as foxy).

I think most people are spot on in regards to Peter/Sylar. Plus it may be easier for Peter to obtain Sylars power, as Sylar thinks Peter is still powerless and wouldnt try to kill him.

One question, there was a female on the plane if you pause it when Claire is untying people. Its only a few seconds but looks like Maya. Also there were at least 12 people on the plane yet we have only seen 6 ( counting the body that went flying out the hole ). Where are they ? I'm assuming the were shot at the start of EP 15.

This volume is completely different from all of the others. I'm trying to adapt to this whole new environment. I like how the story line is well written and not so confusing. It's beginning to show that Nathan's character is very conflicted with what is the right choice. Though i never really like Nathan, i have to say that he is putting on a good show as a villain and was just waiting to happen. I'm still disappointed about peters power, but after reading several posts, i have come to the conclusion as well that when he comes into contact with Sylar he will gain the ability to use multiple powers at once. Though it was never mentioned, it's safe to assume. That formula wasn't mean't to give him a different power, i remember it states that it is written in their dna like a fingerprint. i really really hope he gets back to having all his powers again, he's the only one that is a complete opposite to sylar, one good, one bad with multiple strengths.

Just a theory but i think peter's power is similar to his fathers. The absorption of abilities, peter can only hold on to one power because he doesnt fully understand and know how to control his new power.
