i just relized something. in season one when peter got his power and saved claire for the first time he first could fly but when he met claire, and fell off the roof why didn’t he just fly? he healed himself instead. so maybe the teory that peter absorbs peoples powers by being near them does only happen after he meets sylar. because he started absorbing all the powers around him after that.

wondering about Peter using more than one ability at a time.

The Healing ability seems to kick in without focusing on it which lets him focus on other abilites. I want to see Peter Fly, shoot energy waves and use TK.

I agree, Peter was just getting started and Syler Just keeps getting more powerful. I have a question has Peter used two abilities at the same time?

I agree, Peters abilities now suck!! The story seems to be going back to the original future Peter went back to stop and he had all his abilities but not his healing one

I can see how people think Peter’s power has changed, but we really don’t know yet. Yeah, we seemed to lose his grip (super strength) when he began to use Tracy’s power (Ice/freezing) but that doesn’t mean he lost Mohinder’s super strength. He could have just been startled using freezing power for the first time, because he wasn’t aware of what power Tracy had, and lost his concentration and thus he stopped using the super strength. Think about what happened when he used other powers for the first time: Electricity, Healing, Radiation, after using each of these powers for the first time he became startled, especially because he didn’t know he was going to be receiving these powers. I think we still need to wait and see what Peter’s exact power is.
Also think about the end of vol3 when Peter injects himself with the formula and then focuses in on Nathan. He doesn’t touch Nathan or take/remove Nathan’s power, he just uses it to save them. I think the writers would have remembered that.

Yeah peter´s power changed, now he can only have one power at a time. He touched Mohinder and became superstrong, then he accidentaly touched tracy, lost the superstrenght, caught Tracy´s hability and (also accidentally) froze the plane and caused the accident. That really sucks. In addition we don´t know if the person whose power is borrowed loses his powers (temporarily or permanently) I say this because peters new hability is very much like his father´s and we know that Arthur left the person without their habilities. Lets hope the writers take the oportunity of ANDO´s supercharger power and use it to restore the old peter´s mimic habilities. Hope they also find a way to reactivate Hiro´s powers too.

I have a feeling that at least one important character is going to kick the bucket due to the crash. But it would make sense that with Claire on the plane, she should be able to use her blood to revive any non severely dismembered character. If someone does die, I think the writers are going to find a way that Claire’s power can’t bring ‘em back. Can’t wait for the latest!
