Discussion Thread: Heroes Season 3 Episode 12 (3.12) Our Father

This is it, the next to last episode of Season 3’s “Villains” volume, with just one more episode to go (next week’s “Duel”) before “Villains” wraps up, paving the way for the fourth volume, “Fugitives” in the second half of Heroes Season 3. In “Our Father”, the gang’s all back Stateside (minutes a Petrelli or two), with their sights set firmly on Papa Petrelli. Unfortunately for them, without the Eclipse Arthur has his powers back. Fortunately for the good guys, the Haitian can take care of that. Meanwhile, Claire and Hiro are time-trippin’ in the past, as they explore Claire’s history with HRG. HEROES BAND TOGETHER IN AN ATTEMPT TO PUT A STOP TO ARTHUR PETRELLI

Hoping to find a way to stop Arthur (guest star Robert Forster), Hiro (Masi Oka) and Claire (Hayden Panettiere) band together and travel back in time 16 years to when Kaito (guest star George Takei) gave baby Claire to H.R.G. (Jack Coleman). Meanwhile, Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) and the Haitian (guest star Jimmy Jean-Louis) team up to finish off Arthur Petrelli for good but are interrupted by Sylar (Zachary Quinto). Elsewhere, in the lab, Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) has a major breakthrough with the formula that will likely change everything.

Jessalyn Gilsig, Ashley Crow, Tamlyn Tomita and Chad Faust guest stars.

I hope hero doesnt die....in the preview it shows Auther doing something to him and then sends him flying off a roof top...yes I got that from pausing the DVR!! lol

I kinda think Elle is still alive...I hope so, but you never really know. I am way excited to see a showdown tonite.

Sylar Petrelli

This episode is gonna be real good. I know Arthur is gonna die, its probably gonna be this episode but it could be next week. My guess is peter shoots him with the Haitian with him. It will all depend on sylar, i'm hoping he arrives too late. You never know though i could see sylar killing him when peter can't but my guess is still peter does it. Nathan is gonna take Arthurs place and think he is doing the right thing but his actions end of making all the heroes fugitives because he's gonna try and control all people with abilities. And when word gets out to the wrong people that there are these people out there Nathan will have to let them be hunted down. Its like he's gonna start a less tolerant version of the company. Its crazy that throughout all the stuff thats happened since the start he can't get away from that destiny of being that leader thru the revelation of "special" humans. Every season he is not behind the big world problem but is the one who is going to benefit from it.

I think Elle is dead but in heroes you never know. I think he killed her but they didnt show it to leave open the possibility of bringing her back in future seasons after season 4 when Kristens schedule might be easier.

What I dont get is the picture with Claire and Hiro looking like they are with Arthur?? Any ideas about that?

I'm really worried that Sylar will kill the Haitian after he and Peter kill Arthur. Ether way, if the Haitian dies or doesn't, this should be a pretty good episode. I'm waiting impatiently for this episode as ever.
