D.C. Comics to Publish Heroes Comic Book

Personally, I would have preferred Marvel Comics, being a big fan of the House of Ideas throughout all my comic book days, but alas weak sister D.C. Comics has landed the rights to publish the Heroes comic book. USAToday reports that D.C. will publish a hardcover collection based on a series of 43 comic-book vignettes that appeared on the Heroes website last season. Why not do completely new and original stories? I know a lot of people like the online comics, but they just never looked as professional to me as their “real” brethrens.
In any case, the comics will include art by artists like Michael Turner, Marcus To, Mitch Gunnell and Phil Jimenez, and will feature new covers by comic book Gods Alex Ross and Jim Lee, as well as art by Tim Sale, who did all of Isaac Mendez’s paintings on the show.
Look for the D.C. Heroes comic book in the Fall.
