David Anders is Confirmed as Joining Heroes?

E! Online’s Kristin (yes, yes, I know some of you people don’t trust anything she says blah blah blah) has gotten confirmation from her sources inside NBC that, although official announcements have yet to be made, that David Anders, formerly of “Alias”, has indeed joined the expanding cast of Heroes’ second season.
Says Kristin:
Anders has been given the much coveted series-regular role of Kane, a Sark-ish character who just so happens to be 1,000 years old, for the upcoming second season of Heroes. I’m told Anders starts work on the show on Monday.
So there you go, “Alias” fans. David Anders is now a Hero! Well, whether he is a “hero” or a “villain” remains to be seen…
He sure is a well-dressed fellow, isn’t he? Looks exactly like a “1,000 year old man” who has a way with the ladies, as it were.

Kane? What is this, wrestling? This is very stupid, I’m guessing he has a fire ability? Sound familiar?
Kane is a biblical name, much like everyone else on the show other than Hiro (but we get that one) and Claire, DL, and Niki. Let’s see…Peter, Eden, Nathan, Micah, Noah, Isaac, Gabriel (Sylar’s real name), Matthew… so we just need Jonah, Ezekiel, Moses (Mohinder?) Adam, Eve, Mary, Paul, Esther, Timothy, John, Ruth, Rachel, James, Job, Abraham, Abel, Judas, Phillip, Mark, Michael, Lazarus, and oh yeah…Jesus.
Good point Bones, I still don’t like the idea though. They could easily think of another name for the guy.
hey bones!good observation bout d biblical names.
i luv d show
If anyone doesn’t know of David (Anders)…just wait. He is extremely versitile and God sexy as hell. And the way he played Sark….which was only supposed to be a 2 episode gig, but got a huge fan base, that it expanded to a regular and one of the most popular and “theorized” characrter to disect.
Give him a chance, He could play an 80 yr. old Jewish woman and he could nail it.
Just adore him. He’s a perfect fit for ‘Heores’
And it is so much of fun when you comment out on something past in time. Among the given comments, Bones had known the first part with the name Adam was choosen, and now we’re to face 12 new men, therefore that many new names. Let’s see with what percentage will the producers obey to this unrevealed rule of theirs.
It is also standing quite unclear that possibly what kind of goals did they target other than the financial ones? One can easily conclude that this may end up in somewhere in the end that does not fit anything on the fans’ minds.
best regards;
