David Anders Confirmed Back for Season 3

By Sam | June 19, 2008 (11:52 am)

No real big surprise here. Did anyone really expect Kring and company to kill off David Anders’ Adam Monroe for good? There is the making of a great villain in the character, and definitely someone more interesting than the speedster girl they’re going to be introducing as Hiro’s nemesis in Season 3. Really, why would you swap Monroe for a new villain when Monroe is right there, waiting to resurface from his gravely prison, and pick up right where the two left off trying to destroy Hiro for the sins of the past? Boggles the mind.

Anyways, about David Anders’ impending return to Heroes Season 3, TV Guide’s newest spoiler dude Matt Mitovich had this to say in response to a question:

Please tell me we haven’t seen the last of David Anders as Adam Monroe on Heroes. — Stacie

Matt Mitovich: No, Heroes fans have not seen the last of Anders. And that’s the truth. (Now would you be so kind as to tell my sons that good things come to those who say please?)

It sure looks like Season 3 is going to be jam packed with villains. Anders is back, there are 12 new villains, the speedster Daphne… By the time the film hits Season 4, scorecards will be necessary to keep track of who is new, who has died, who has died and come back, who has died for good, and who is adopted, and who relates to who…

On the bright side, at least David Anders will be back. He talked more about his return to the show here.

I THINK WITH ALL THE VILLINS IN THIS NEXT SEASON THAT IT WONT BE ABOUT NILLANS FIGHTING HEROES IT WILL BE ABOUT VILLINS FIGHTING VILLINS AND HOPEFULLY SYLAR AND ADAM COME OUT ON TOP

Whatcha wanna bet that Sylar tries to kill him for his Claire Bennett like powers.

HEROGUY on July 1, 2008

I think that if sylar got his hands on peter and took his ability he wouldnt need to kill clair just use peters ability to absorb it from her, I also beleive that adam is the orignal “hero” remember in the comic he had so many wives wich could lead to them bearing children with powers…therefore adam could be the great great great great etc… grandfather to probably all the heroes thats why everyone feels connected

TrafficoneMan on July 2, 2008

if sylar killed peter and took his powers he would have clairs power but he needs clairs power to defeat peter but i agree with your adam theory i have been saying it for a while now but am left wondering were he got his power

HEROGUY on July 5, 2008

im not so sure if sylar took peters power that he would get all his abosrbed powers as well but i could be wrong and i doubt we will ever find out but i do want to see a crazy sylar vs peter battle scene ones better and longer then weve already seen.

I love David Anders!!!
He looks so much like Neil Patrick Harris, except the straight version. XD
