Dallas Morning News Calls Heroes “the season’s big sleeper hit”
There’s a very positive but brief review of “Heroes” in the Dallas Morning News‘ TV section. The writer, Ed Bark, writes:
Compelling ordinary people come to grips with their extraordinary powers in an X-Men-inspired fable that just might be the season’s big sleeper hit in a winnable time slot on Monday nights.
“Volume one of their epic tale” plays far better than expected. No new series is more Internet chat-worthy or better equipped to hit responsive chords among younger viewers. Characters include Texas cheerleader Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere), who tests her newfound indestructibility by plunging into fires, jumping from high places and inserting her hand into the teeth of a garbage disposal.
