Closer Look at Those Heroes Action Figures

A lot of you seemed to like the idea of having your own Heroes action figures, so here are more information about them. The action figures are being released by Mezco Toyz, and will come 7″ tall. They will include: Syler (Includes Brain, Baseball Cap, Glass Shooting Hand, & Painting), Peter Petrelli (Includes: Glowing Hands, Messenger Bag, & Painting), Hiro Nakamura (Includes: Sword, Messenger Bag & Painting), Claire Bennet (Includes: Wounded Head, Wounded Arm & Painting), Mohinder Suresh (Includes: Activating Evolution Book, Messenger Bag, & Painting), and a Peter Petrelli in Flight Mode (Not Shown) that will be relased as a Diamond Exclusive. This figure will include Messenger Bag and Flight Stand.

I thought all but Claire looked pretty good. Sylar’s head is WAY too big–he looks like an eight-year-old on testosterone–but the expression is right.
Claire looks like a thirty-eight year old business woman not enjoying a costume party. The jawline is all wrong and the mouth is too low on the face. More baby fat would help, maybe, but I’m not sure even that would save it.
Let’s face it, it’s harder to get girls right. People are a whole lot pickier about replicated female features, I guess.

Some of the best action figures that I buy are made by Mcfarlane. To bad Mcfarlane isn’t making the action figures. Check out his line for proof. I’ve bought most of the figures from the LOST series. Hope he gets the rights to the show one day.
