It goes with the whole girls fall for guys like their fathers, plus he has that childlike character that Peter had when he first me Claire. Also it takes the show away from texas and incest as much as i hated them making Peter and Claire related this closes an age gap and add another hero who isn't afraid to use his power. Plus this show Claire is growing up and learn to control her powers. AND WEST IS A GOOD NAME! It isn't a name you hear everywhere so automatically you think oo he is different. Then you find out he is another hero. Then there is the whole mystry about his family. Do we know anything about him besides he was taken by Claire's father in St Louis? It makes you think and plot for the next episode. SO stop the whinning and enjoy the show. It will all be okay in the end. Okay I love the idea.
