Claire Gets a Second College Roommate in Rachel Melvin

Yet another new castmember joins Heroes Season 4. This time it’s former soap opera actress Rachel Melvin (Days of Our Lives) who has joined the cast, playing yet another roommate of Claire Bennet in her unnamed Washington D.C.-area college. When describing Melvin’s character, The Hollywood Reporter actually did it very curiously:

Days after “Californication” co-star Madeline Zima was cast to play Claire Bennet’s (Hayden Panettiere) college roommate Gretchen in a multiepisode arc, Claire got herself yet another roommate.

“Days of Our Lives” co-star Rachel Melvin has been tapped to guest star and potentially recur on “Heroes” next season, playing Annie, who also will share sleeping quarters (and maybe more) with Claire.

Interesting how they put that. “And maybe more…”?

Wonder what they meant by that…

i doubt they would go where it sounds like they could be going with that. she will probably have an ability (maybe the same one? O.o that could get them to be close friends, maybe? dunno, just grasping at straws here.)

that seems logical, i stil hav mixed feelings about season 4 but i would like to see wat they've got planned

I think if she was like Claire in having the same regenerative abilities, it would be slightly anticlimactic..they've already played that card with Adam Monroe.

A possible female petrelli? haha idk..just thinking. Maybe she's like the "claire" of a whole other group heroes. She's "special" too?

Maybe the "something more" they share is genes. Maybe she is somehow a relative of the Petrelli clan...Maybe Arthur had brothers/sisters or a love child? Could be interesting.
