So there’s a biggie in the final episode of Heroes Season 3 featuring everyone’s favorite cheerleader Claire and serial killer Sylar, that is featured in this week’s TV Guide issue, which contains a one page write-up on Heroes Episode 3.25, “An Invisible Thread” by writer Michael Logan. Tim Kring, who is quoted in the article, confirms the story, so you know it’s true. Read on for the SPOILER. Note: Intro paragraph edited to remove spoilers.
From the article by Michael Logan:
Don’t give that man a hand: if you press the flesh with Sylar, he might replicate your body. The season finale of Heroes finds the demonic shape-shifter (played by Zachary Quinto) turning into Sen. Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar) in order to shake hands with the president of the United States (Michael Dorn) and take command of the country. (And you thought the Bush years were bad!)
There’s also time for a little skin-crawling romance. “Sylar corners Claire [Hayden Panettiere] and springs a proposal on her,” creator and executive producer Tim Kring tells TV Guide. “He has this theory that she will come to love him because he can never die and she can never die–and thus, they’re destined to be together.”
The hour ends with a teaser for “Redemption,” the next story arc in the series. “We flash-forward three months and see the return of a character a lot of fans thought would never come back,” Kring says. “We also see Sylar shape-shifting yet again, and who he becomes is a real shocker. It’s the goofiest thing we’ve done yet-and I mean that in a good way!”
Wow. Didn’t see that coming.
