Christopher Eccleston Talks About Returning to Heroes for Season 2

Christopher Eccleston, aka Claude the Invisible Man, recently talked with ComingSoon about his upcoming movie “The Dark is Rising”, and they asked him about possibly returning to Heroes for its second season. Here’s what Christopher had to say about that, about getting offered tea, and about what it would take to bring him back. Something about a “meaty” storyline. Hey, if Claude wants meat in his storylines, give Claude meat in his storylines, writers!
Says Eccleston about possibly returning for Heroes Season 2:
We haven’t spoken about that yet. I’d certainly be open to it. I get the feeling that they’d be open to it, but I think we all feel that he made a good impact, and in a sense, it’s a decision whether to leave it at that because it just adds to the fabric of their series. I think there’s got to be something really meaty for him to do for me to go back, but I’d certainly like to. I was made very welcome by that crew and that cast. Being a Brit on that show, I’ve never been offered so many cups of tea in my life. But you do, it’s like you get lots of attention because you’re different.
Sounds like Christopher is keeping his options open, and since Kring and company have mentioned many times that they want Christopher back, I’m guessing he will be back, sooner or later. If the man wants more impact on the story with his character, then by God they should give him more impact.
My prediction: Expect Claude back for Season 2.

it would be great to see the invisible man back in heroes, i would love to see him suddenly appear in possibly the season 2 finale, it would turn out that he never left, but followed several characters, Sylar, Peter, etc. but he reappears all of a sudden to save someones life in the middle of a battle from Sylar or the “new” villian. Just a thought

NICE! I loved the character Claude. He was a interesting addition to the show. I was hoping that we would see more of him. But ::SPOLIER!!!:: Sylar got him. Oh, well. I hope he comes back. Claude was cool.

Christopher is a top ranked actor imo, I have watched him since his DCI days in Cracker and I loved him as The Doctor(thought he was the best). I am glad to here everything went as well as it did and that the door is at the very least open. I do hope he returns to the show.

I so hope Chris comes back! I adored him as “Claude.” The 4 part graphic novel that NBC did was nice, and gave us more insight, but Chris is amazing on screen. There’s subtleties that even the best GN artists and writers can’t capture. ANother reason I really wish he’d return is to refute the rumors going around here and elsewhere that Sylar killed him. Sylar’s good but Claude’s been at this longer!

guys i rekon claud is the killer in series 2. maybe i’m wrong but a LOT of evidence points towards him, like his posture height build etc. plus molly sed wen she sees him he can c her, is that something to do with him being invisible. I think its more then invisibilty. i think he is VERY powerful.

I doubt Claude is the killer. It would be a bit redundant for him to kill people wearing a hood to hide his face when he can turn invisible. Besides, who ever the killer is, he’s smaller than Claude. I think it’s that one boy Claire likes. He can fly, so once he pushed over Hiro’s dad he could have flown off. Not to mention he’s the right size.

I reitterate here what I said in another thread:
Claude needs to return and smack some sense into Peter. (And not just because I miss him either). I’d love to see an Adam vs Claude fight. Adam may be able to heal but he can’t see Claude if he goes invisible. After he “pwns” Adam I can see Claude turning to Peter and saying, “Blimey! I can’t leave you alone can I? You save us from the Haitian and my ex-working partner but then you link up with the first bloke who says he’s gonna help you. Were you not listening when I said ‘everyone is like the rest?’ C’mon, Poodle, back to the roof with you.”
and Peter “But I can control my powers.”
Claude replies, “But you still don’t get it, pup.” And another knockout punch by Claude.
If ever there was a good time for Claude to return it would be now. And no, Sylar did not get Claude.

oh man, i hope they do bring him back. and he somehow helps Peter again. that’d be great. or he gets in a fight with HRG for shooting Nathan or something wild like that.
