Chapter 11 (Episode 1.11) “Fallout” Spoilers!

TV Guide has an article about tonight’s upcoming episode “Fallout”, the final “Heroes” episode before the show goes on Winter break and returns January 22, 2007. Before you read on, remember that there are some spoilers here, and you should avoid this post at all cost if you don’t want to know…

According to TV Guide, “Fallout” will feature “…the death of a character, a hero turning traitor and a prophetic painting of Hiro (Masi Oka) raising a sword to do battle with a gigantic…”

Then there’s this about the nuclear explosion prophesized to nuke New York, from Tim Kring himself:

“We’ve introduced Sprague [Matthew John Armstrong], who is radioactive and seems to be getting worse,” Kring notes. “But we’ll posit another theory that it’s Peter [Milo Ventimiglia]. He’s having so much trouble absorbing the powers around him that he goes into a coma.”

Kring also confirms that someone with powers will die in “Fallout”, and not a supporting character like Simone or Mohinder, or even Nathan’s wife, as some have speculated.

And finally, this interesting tidbit:

A hero “will be seduced into the web of Horn-rimmed Glasses,” Kring says of Jack Coleman’s character.
