Casting Call for First 2 Episodes of Season 3

The guys over at Spoiler TV have somehow gotten their hands on the casting sheets for the first two episodes of Heroes Season 3, titled “The Butterfly Effect” and “Dreamtime”. There’s not a whole lot you can get out of scanning a casting sheet, but there are a couple of tidbits that are of interest. For instance, in the first episode of the new season there is a character called “Jesse”, who is described as “an intense guy with an explosive temper. Violent. Cruel. A mean looking S.O.B.” He’s also going to be a recurring character, too.
Episode 3.02, “Dreamtime”, has only one character on the list. The casting people are looking for an “African Aborigine”, described as “a member of the Maasai, Samburu or another similar nomadic pastoral tribe. A storyteller with great wisdom.”
No doubt this is the new character that, rumor has it, will be replacing Mohinder Suresh as the show’s narrator, as previously reported here.
You can read the full casting list for episode 3.01, “The Butterfly Effect”, over at SpoilerTV.

In one hand, I want Suresh to stay, but on the other, this new narrator sounds interesting. At first I thought Peter was going to heal Nathan with his blood, but “The Butterfly Effect” makes me think that Peter is going to go back in time to save his brother.
I’m just hoping to get definite news of Claude’s return.
I agree with Tarot. Claude is fantastic.
Suresh does a great job as the narrator, so why do they want to change a good thing?
I thought the rumors about the new narrator had him as australian?
I’m wondering if the african aborigine is going to be part of the existing stories or start a whole new one. I like the idea of exploring the super powers phenomenon in africa, keeping the story global.
season three is about bad guys, I wonder if this Jesse will be one. sounds like he might be a gang member or something.
I loved Suresh narrating! Don’t change it now. Besides, that could slightly hurt the show. Just slightly, but still: Suresh narrating was a first impression move. Now it’s looked forward to. If you take it away, a small wave of confusion takes over.
i think Suresh is doing a good job and should carry on doing the narrating job.
i agree wit everyone, suresh did DO a good job, why change it now? ravenclaw is right, it makes perfect sense about peter going back to save nathan. how else would he survive and trust me , he is still part of the show.
