AOL Online recently held a poll and asked its readers to pick the best and worst of the 2006-2007 TV season, and after 3 million votes were cast, Heroes came up on top in one category and second in another. Heroes scored Best New Show with 38% of the vote, with “Ugly Betty” coming in at a close second with 32%, while Zachary Quinto’s murderous supervillain Sylar coming in second with 26% of the vote, losing to “Lost’s” Ben, who stole the victory with 28%. Meanwhile, AOL readers chose Hiro’s time traveling powers as the Heroes power they’d most like to have with 28% of the vote.
But that’s the readers. The editors of AOL TV chose Heroes as the Best New Show, Zachary Quinto’s Sylar as Best Villain, and George Takei’s turn as Hiro’s faster as Coolest Guest Star.
Check out the results of the reader’s poll here, and the editor’s picks here.

Dubya on 22 June 2007:
Lost is for a bunch of idiots, Lost sucks at life.
Archis on 22 June 2007:
HEROES rocks!!!
LOST sucks!!!
i hate when ppl compare HEROES to lost!!
Bones on 25 June 2007:
Hiro has the best superpower if and only if there are no other super powers. Otherwise you’d have to say Peter has the best power because he can get Hiro’s power and many more. But, yes, if there was only one superpower available in the world, I would choose time/space travel, too.
