Ali Larter in Bollywood Movie Marigold

Well actually, it’s a Western movie (re: Hollywood) set in the world of Bollywood — that is, India’s sprawling movie industry. The film has been around for a while (from 2005, I think), but it’s finally getting release now, according to this. I have no dates or schedules, but if you’re a fan of Ali Larter (aka Niki/Jessica), and really, who isn’t, you should keep an eye out for it. In the film, Ali Larter plays a B-list American actress who gets stuck in a Bollywood movie in India, and falls in love with her movie’s choreographer, played by mega real-life Bollywood star Salman Khan.
“Marigold” is the romantic, musical, and comedy adventure of a young American woman who travels to India and finds that her life is transformed in the most unexpected ways by her experiences and adventures there.
Here’s a poster for the movie to keep an eye on:

Salman Khan use to be my favorite actor, but he has plummetted much. (Aishwariya Rai scandal + killing endangered deer)

I’ve heard that the movie opens August 17! So let’s all go to the theatre and support Ali!
The promos are great and it seems like a sweet movie. Check out Myspace for more info on the movie, promos and latest news.
