A New Female Hero For Season 2?

Another Hero like Missy Peregrym’s shapeshifting Candice Wilmer? Tim Kring, the producer/creator of Heroes says Yes, if just to balance out the genders. After all, aren’t there more females than males in the world today?
Anyways, Here’s what he told Kristin at E! Online:
“…mastermind Tim Kring told me about season two, “There are plans to add one new, one big character next season.” I’m told that character is female—to even out the gender ranks a wee bit. Tim also told me that those Heroes who remain are likely to stick around, ’cause he’s changed his m.o. “I thought Heroes was going to have an ever-shifting cast,” he says, “but the cast hit in such big ways that now the challenge is to figure out how to use them all and still fold in a couple of new people, because I still think that the origin stories are the most fascinating, in some ways.”
Let’s hope this new female Hero will be nicer than Candice. She’s so cruel.

Hmm…That’ll be interesting. I wonder if Missy is going to stay for the second season. Shapeshifter versus shapeshifter!
But I’m glad they might be keeping the cast around. It’ll be interesting to see more of their stories, mixed in with more Heroes.

Candice is not a shapeshifter she is an illusionist, a shapeshifter can only shift their own shape, she goes beyond this and alters the perception of her surrounding environment (Episode 18 Parasite, think when she hid Simone’s body).

Not really, Justin. it’s somewhat clear now that in the future Sylar kills Candace and looks liek Peter durting the explosion.
