A Heroes show without Hiro? That’s almost unthinkable. After all, if Tim Kring and company can’t even bring themselves to kill any of any of their main players without resorting to some gimmick to bring them back and maintain the status quo, is it really thinkable that they would kill off Hiro, probably the show’s most popular character (aside from the cheerleader, I mean)? Probably not, but the speculation now exists thanks to the folks over at Watch With Kristin.
In response to a reader question regarding Hiro and his recurring nosebleeds at the end of last season, the folks at WWK said this:
I was wondering if you knew anything about the next season of Heroes.
Hiro’s (Masi Oka) bloody noses and headaches are not going away next season on Heroes. In fact, it’s going to be a cause for speculation on if we’re going to lose another hero soon.
So there you have it. It’s true that our time travel geek has become very mortal of late, but I think it may be asking too much for the show to kill off one of its most popular character, even if they just plan to bring him back in another variation of the character ala Ali Larter or Adrian Pasdar.
But still … a Heroes show without Hiro?
