NBC has finally released the official synopsis and description for the 2-hour premiere of Heroes 4, which will consist of episodes 4.01 and 4.02, “Orientation” and “Jump, Push, Fall” and return to the airwaves September 21st, 2009 in the usual’s regular Monday night timeslot. If you’ve been keeping up with all the footage and news coming out of Comic Con and elsewhere, you know that the heroes are once again apart as Season 4 begins, and a new villain in Robert Knepper’s Carnival Ringmaster is introduced. Claire is now in college, and her campus storyline will remain a big part of the early episodes, while Hiro is in dire straits. Matt is haunted by his actions at the end of Season 3, and Angela tries to keep Nathan from discovering the truth. Tracy is also back, and hooks up with HRG, while Peter is out there trying to save lives a paramedic again. Here is your Heroes Season 4 premiere preview.
Remember that Season 3 episode where Claire and Nathan ended up in Mexico, then in a bar with some frat boys? Well that scene actually went on, and included a fight in the back alley of the Mexican bar that was never shown on TV. Now with the Heroes Season 3 DVD, you’ll be able to see the Claire and Nathan vs. Frat Boys fight that wasn’t shown, among other bonus videos. Here is that deleted scene, and two behind-the-scenes video that further explores the world of Heroes Season 3.
Heroes Season 4 begins September 21st, 2009 in its usual Monday night timeslot, but before that happens, get caught up on the previous season as Heroes Season 3 arrives on DVD and Blu-ray September 1st, 2009.
The website AliLarterFan got their hands on some new shots from the Heroes Season 4 set. These show Tracy Strauss (Ali Larter) on the sidewalk coming face to face with Season 4′s new villain, Samuel (played by Prison Break’s Robert Knepper). Tracy doesn’t look all that surprised to see Samuel (or maybe she just hides it well), but Samuel looks, well, kind of confused. Then again, these shots were probably snapped between takes, so the context for the scene is probably something else entirely.
Just got in this new image of Claire Bennet (played by Hayden Panettiere) from Heroes Season 4, apparently from the Claire college storyline that involves a suicide by someone Claire knows. Looks like Claire is doing a little mystery solving. That, apparently, includes laying in the chalk outline of a dead person while bleeding from the head. This is probably a continuation of the scene in the trailer where Claire seems poised to jump out of a window. Hey, it’s college — time to experiment, right?
Okay, so it’s only for one episode, but it is everyone’s favorite Texas diner waitress Charlie Andrews, Hiro’s first one true love, so it should be good news to all you Charlie-Hiro fans out there. According to Michael Ausiello over at Entertainment Weekly, the time-traveling Hiro will be once again try to save Charlie from her Sylar run-in as part of his “bucket list”.
Here’s the latest promo for Heroes Season 4, called “Dreams”. The caption: “They dream of the way it used to be, but life has other plans.” Heroes Season 4 returns next month, September 21st in its usual Monday night timeslot 8/7 central.
This is apparently the poster for Heroes Season 4 via the boys at UGO. I say “apparently” because, well, it’s a pretty generic poster with Hiro, Sylar, and Claire, and the tagline: “Greater Evil. Greater Good.” It doesn’t mention the new season’s volume title, “Redemption”. In any case, check it out. Heroes Season 4 returns September 21st this year.
Check out a scene from Heroes Season 4, featuring a superspeed knife fight between Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) and Edgar (Ray Park). Not sure why Edgar is trying to kill HRG (Jack Coleman), but I suppose the Company vs. Carny battle might have something to do with it. The clip was previously shown during the Heroes Comic Con panel, but here’s the non-bootleg version.
Listen up, Heroes fans in the UK, the guys at Sci Fi UK (I guess they haven’t changed their name to Sy Fy UK yet) are currently running a competition where one lucky winner will get a chance to sit down during an interview with Heroes creator Tim Kring, who’ll be in London August 24th to promote the DVD release of Heroes Season 4. The catch is that you have to be a UK resident and be older than 18. More details below:
